The Hongqi HQ9, a luxury minivan crafted by the Chinese automaker Hongqi, boasts an eye-catching design highlighted by its extravagant and massive grille, exuding a touch of opulence like no other. The grille features side blades, 12 bars, and a central bar adorned with a striking red flag ornament that starts from the grille and extends over the hood, leaving a lasting impression wherever it goes.
Inside, the Hongqi HQ9 surprises with its relatively low-tech approach for a Chinese luxury car of its time. The main screen appears small and lacks seamless integration into the overall dashboard design, somewhat detracting from the overall aesthetics. While the instrument panel is adequately sized, it doesn't seamlessly blend into the interior layout.

In terms of dimensions, the HQ9 boasts a wheelbase of 3,200 mm (126.0 in), a length of 5,222 mm (205.6 in), a width of 2,005 mm (78.9 in), and a height of 1,892 mm (74.5 in), with a curb weight of 2,885 kg (6,360 lb). This combination of power, luxury, and dimensions makes the Hongqi HQ9 a formidable and distinct offering in the automotive market.
