Thank you guys for doing this every week! I am inspired to get into the Word more. In the academic setting I’m currently in, it is easy to be looking at the lives of my peers rather than being thankful for my own life. Thank you for reminding us to pursue Christ and serve others by utilizing what we have and having gratitude/contentment. :)
Self control, managed/realistic expectations, and manageable goals that aren't lain in a path of impossible hurtles/obstacles. These are the 3 big things necessary to grow. And the more important thing, understand that suffering is life. Not the kind of suffering that one endures endlessly in Hell, but more so the suffering of an instance, an accident, a mistake, a happening, etc. To be able to suffer through a hardship appropriately and grow in Christ, He will flourish your heart, mind and soul. If you contend with Christ, and decide to turn away from him in order to "figure it out yourself"....you enter the world of sin...you enter coping at the unhealthy realm. Veni, Vidi, Vici. "I came. I saw. I won/conquered." Stop putting all your consequences and weights into the world alone, trust in HIM. Let HIM guide thee, and he will sow you a wave of peace and grace. Then, move forward in Christ Jesus. Cheers, friends. Cheers brothers and sisters in Christ. May He be your shoulder to weep on. May He be your brother to embrace, your tree to lean onto and under, may He be your fruiting tree. Through pruning, we can make clearer and allow the fruits to flourish from the tree of our lives. He is the pruner and the flourisher. Turn to Him, in all things...always. Peace be with you all :)
“How sad would it be to live the highlights in your life in escape rather than finding joy in every day life” GOOD STUFF!!!
That was sad because that's the reality of majority of people in the west and maybe the rest of the world too

"God turn it around." That's what the angels said while listening to the first part of this podcast.
As a current Samford student, I feel the “Sam not Stan” confusion at a core level Kathy
JP sounded hangry this episode 😂
That helped so much with my thoughts on marriage and just expectations!
I sent this to my Intern team in the college ministry I am apart of and the sent to the students in that ministry!! Awesome episode
Blessings and greetings from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I like this topic!
Genuinely curious where the ranking of podcasts are that JP sees, he's always saying "we're the X ranked podcast in the world" 😂
