I know why they made Vanguard charms useless everywhere else. The only way that they could make them useful everywhere is to re=balance the entire game around having those charms. I don't think that they want to do that at all. Recently I have been playing other games other than Immortal. When I was doing Immortal I was able to always get all forty battle pass levels with ease by just grinding out the content. Soon I will be upgrading from HDD to M.2 SSD and I might jump in and see how much lag is removed due to switching to M.2 ssd.
How do the expect people to use the new legendary gems when the core player base is all sitting around lv4-6 5* star gems?
They really need a swap mecanic. The gem power transfer isn’t enough when you need 13-72 dupes to try a new gem
Whoever came up with the idea of the new mode should be fired. All we asked of devs is just to listen to us the players requests. We have literally begging them HOW TO MAKE DIABLO GREAT AGAIN, yet apparently there too much swamps for that to ever happen...

@marlonhunt4327 All the person is saying is that we asked for things to be fixed not a new game mode. If you like playing it while everything else Is broken, then that's you.

They need to introduce ranks for events and gives ppl some crests or higher normal gems coz most events are boring…..

Not increasing battle pass points is 👎. Events have been added consistently and its easier to gain points but the cap is still stuck at 2400
So... event rewards and Quests go above cap... or they used to. you just need to plan a bit better. hopefully this didn't change with patch

@@GTW2000 Not saying play less- just saying that the hard cap of 2400 isn't as hard of a cap as people think...
I think the caps should all be removed, all of them. Trying to keep people from advancing too far is ridiculous.

Dev's are pushing so hard to produce new new new. Crucible is way way way too short and is just a click through cut scene.
I agree with you about this update. It had a lot of hype and just fell a little short. I am glad they are making new content and adding new features to the game. The Vanguard mode, is fun. I played it a couple of times. It does lack that payoff or incentive to do repeatedly. The familiar update was not that great for me. I have a ton of the grey familiars that I am just not going to level up. It would be nice to turn them in for something to help progress other familiars. I haven't played the story mode as of yet. It is still a good game in my opinion and I enjoy playing almost daily. I would like to see what Blizzard does next.

Big QoL changes to elder rifts too. Crests now give you embers after capping the 120 bonus.
vanguard has the possibility to drop a legendary item with a new special ability, thats the reason to play it, but is RNG
The update wasn’t that bad. I’m happy about QOL improvements.
I’m not happy that battlegrounds still hasn’t been fixed completely. I don’t understand what’s so difficult about keeping resonance brackets. Res 2k and under, 2k-4k, 4k-6k, 7k-10k. Next have a balanced matched. Equal amount of barbs, tempests, necros, DHs, etc on each team. Sure matchmaking will be longer but it’ll be more rewarding rather than me being a 3k res fighting 10k res players.
Or develop a new pvp set up separate from bgs completely. Make it true pvp. Just uses skills, gear, essence. No gems. Make it a season instead of temporary event like alley of blood.
Thirdly, add the new vanguard charm system to battlegrounds. Have roles. A healer, a controller (bane buff/debuff), tank (defense), and might (dps) very simple. That’s actually real team pvp.
Or if they do develop a new pvp system like I mentioned (they won’t) they can add those charms to that mode instead of battlegrounds. The potential for this game is astonishing however devs will ruin it.
Who’s more likely to spend money on the game, someone who’s played for 2 years and is tired of playing catch up or someone who’s actually motivated to play because they enjoy the game.
Not to mention everytime I see a new player in world chat, veteran players are telling them to not even play the game because it’s a scam. Unless you want to spend 50,000 dollars don’t even try.
Only the new HotA essence for Barb not fail in the past few weeks.
If it was a major update (if blizzard really think it is) yesterday we have in serious trouble.
I was looking forward to it, but when I got in game and looked around, I was pretty underwhelmed. It’s fun, but nothing new. I’ll go raid or dungeon crawl and get more stuff. Some good QOL improvements, but nothing staggering 🤷♂️
Sometimes it drives me crazy when people complain about the game being boring or having nothing to do. When the update came out I did the storyline right away to get it done. Other people will max out a new event and get everything done. I think Blizzard does an OK job with tweaking what they have. Some of the improvements like you said are great improvements.
I'm am too much plug and play and would have saved a lot of time if I saw this on Wednesday and not Thursday. 😅
oh I have no issue with the charms only being used in vanguard. They are way to OP and easy to get for everyday use. I do agree with inventory slots.
Why the hell isn't my vanguard reset
This. It reset in the codex. After running one to test, it updated to 1/5 there. But still, 0/5 available charm rewards. So, it was clearly meant to reset as the counter indicated. Nothing surprising, unfortunately.
@TheRealRizan yeah but what's the point in the codex I ran 5/5 in codex no charm drop the rewards should have reset they fkd it up again
@@ChannelMroks None. Blizzard fumbled the bag again. They intended to reset both and didn't.
And about the familiars you can empower 10:20 30 however many you have enough spirit essence to empower You can empower all at once

Since the update. My battlepass is frozen. Its stuck on 87 points . So not sure how I'm gonna be able to claim it. At the end of the week. For a major update. What a let down. Think Blizzard shouldn't of bothered. Would of been happier. If they said no update but alot of bug fixes and qol.
You forgot to mention, the quest battle points don't count towards the cap. It's been like this for a while, so I'm not sure if everyone knows.
It will give u new weapon with helliq boss skill. Charm is the key to defeat and makes the progress easier.
I clear lvl 4 on first day twice and im only 2k reso barb.

Ranking up the charms to be able to beat higher up in vanguard is how you eventually beat it. But it does give some nice dust rewards.
You dont play Vanguard for charms. You play it because it can drop mainhand and offhand with special helliq affixes
Make sure you guys minmax your rewards. Claim it after every Bounty you complete it keeps stacking individually
Did feel like vanguard was very separate from the game which did confuse me. I would like to see some changes like the vanguard Crest, being a part of my normal charm. So I can use it to farm charms. And use that helicory boss, charm ability, in the rest of the game. Other than that I thought the update was great! And like you said, a big step in the right direction. The change to the pets I felt was small. But like you said, maybe it was step one towards bigger changes to make pets more valuable.(And less confusing.) But I'm also very appreciative of all The devs hard work towards making The game better. And more worth All the time and money I'm putting into it.
So yes, I'm a campaign giy so I can say the crucible was decent, but as everyone says,way too short and the sword is kinda, well, pointless. I've run 30 crests so far and got 1, yes one,5 star, 21 one stars and a few 2 stats. Kinda a rip statistically to be that "unlucky" but oh well
Vanguard gives legendary that have a chance to have boss Abilities. It seem like its only on off-hand weapons.
guys please i need help i decided to try diablo immortal on pc i download it from battle net when i choose the serveur and try to enter the world cmd open up and the game crash please help i updated gpu driver and i have i5 12gen and rtx3060 so its not like minimum requirement
As I said to you on Twitter vanguard mode is trash and DOA. The charms should be used to put the new special effect on your main hand and offhand. I played it yesterday just to give it a fair shake and I was still right about it. Unless they make some severe changes and not what you suggested with monster essence being added it's another mode that sees no play.
This entire update was build as a major update with this mode that is complete trash there'll four well there are some nice QOLs This is another failed update. That brought nothing of substance. At best this update should have been a minor.
I want to see real new content. New zones, New dungeons, A complete revamp of the old charm system. Major updates should feel like expansions.
I have to agree with you, the Vanguard game mode seem pointless to do, running from a, b to c also gets tiresome really fast and the time used and rewards dont add up.Wish they'd get their act together and spend time on useful game modes, fixing broken systems(old charms/warband activity etcetera) oh well will never happen, the devs seem out of touch.

Charm is useless and can use only in vanguard and it have time limit
Everyone that is complaining just STOP!! Don't act like you guys care. The game is bad and no matter what they do you guys will continue to play it,support it and throw money into it. Game is trash and you guys still play so enough.
Thr accursed towers isn't really "completely new". Almost entirely same system. Only difference is that clan leaders can pay 3k plat to create a tower alliance and be able to have 3 towers at a time instead of 2. Only the alliance leader clan gets the extra tower bonus, so big clans won't be teaming up for this, as they'll all want 3 for themselves.
So with that in mind, all the big clans will be making their own alliance, and won't really care who else joins their alliance. Maybe it's nice for those who have a separate like alt clan or feeder clan for their main, then they can fight for extra towers for their allied clans as well.
All this tower update did is increase number of tower capacity from 2 to 3. Actually going to hurt the little guys even more as they'll have even less towers to choose from after the top clans all take an extra one now.
