Grafting consists of uniting two parts of different plants so that they join together and remain as a single plant.
It constitutes another method of multiplication applicable to many plants of this group, alternative to seeds, cuttings, suckers or division of bushes.
An example is colored and albino cacti that lack chlorophyll and are therefore unable to survive on their own.
also crested plants are wrinkled, brain-like cacti, they rarely flower and set seed, so they are propagated by cutting or grafting.
Another use of grafts is to save a plant whose stem or roots are rotting or also to optimize the development of very slow-growing cacti.
