Great lessons! You need, well I’d love it if you did a tone lesson! Your tones with EVH Crue etc.. is so huge sounding! Any chance of that or have you already done some?
Sorry to correct you but the tuning is called ,,d standard" and not ,,drop d". drop d would be the avenged sevenfold tuning, sorry again to correct you. Awesome video too, maybe do an iconic song next, i suggest danger calling
Nice lesson! Gary Moore, the messiah will come again? Too much? If so? I understand. It's a lot! I've been trying to catch all his little stuff! My hearing isn't what it use too be! Lol 😂 50years of playing by ear, I'm deaf! Wife say dumb too! I disagree! 😆 Thanks Marty
I prefer the first Motley Crue Album. Try to make a Brian May licks he has a lot of phrasing and violin style licks focusing the video lesson on the phrasing 101 which Brian May does the AAB phrasing formula often in his melody line licks. Rory Gallagher lesson on his pinch harmonics like watching a bunch of his live concerts and doing a Top 10 HABITS of Rory Gallagher
To play with the records it's all down one step. 🤟🏻 Standard works ok too, and a more stable. (Pitch wise) unless you have an evertune which are badass!
Please call the notes instead of calling the frets...I know, I know...:) but it would be easier if people learn the fretboard (speaking as a 48 yo beginner).
Gotta love Mick's riffs. Thanks Marty for these awesome lessons for multiple riffs.
You're very welcome!!!
Mick mars awesome. There's no motley Crue without him .
That's true. He really is the heart of the "sound".
Mick Mars Rocks my world!! 1313 Mars Man for life! Cool video Marty. 🤟

Thanx for the awesome lesson Marty. Mick is comoletely underrated....I dont remeber Guitar Player or Guitar World chasing him down for interviews🎸
You're welcome! True. Seems like Nikki got most of the magazine coverage. Mick was always silent in the background. 🤷
Great video. How are you getting your awesome tone? Nice explorer too!
Going to see them this Monday! With Def Leppard!!!
Have a blast man! 🤟🏻😎🤟🏻

@@jimgibson7275 I love hearing that man. Glad to help!
Is it drop D or D standard tuning 🤔
Tune the entire guitar down one step.

The first album is wonderful. 😎🤟🏻
Livewire?😢
Sorry it didn't make this one. My next 80's riff lesson next week will have it!
✌😎🎼🎶
So it’s Drop D ? I tuned every string down a whole step for Motley . I got tired of tuning up and down and playing half step down.
Get another guitar 😂
@@muleblues71 why? I only have 2 arms . I love my Les Paul

@@Ranch5150SkinWalker Ok Awesome thanks bro.. Honestly I didn’t like how wobbly the strings feel tuned down a whole step
Ghost tuning D standard 🤘
Marty you butchered those kick ass cure riffs !!! . Mick needs to be the rock and roll hall of fame . Very well done lesson! 😎🤘🏻🤘🏻.
Thanks my friend! 😎🎵🎵🎵
