cold showers make me so happy, after a few weeks it starts to feel super normal and i actually want it even colder. sometimes when i want a warm shower i make sure to turn on cold for the end so i can rinse my hair and chill out (ha puns)

Used to do cold showers, but stopped as I felt lazy. Best way is to start off on warm water and then switch to cold water for about two mins. It feels strange and really uncomfortable if you have the freezing cold water running on your face, but so good for energy and feeling great. Lucie you absolutely smashed it!

LMBO jumped right in. You're crazy and I love it. I'm a long haul covid patient 15 months post positive test. I've been having brain fog/dizziness/ memory issues and I found you tube videos about the damage covid does to the vagus nerve and how cold showers lessen the symptoms. Do your research. Cold showers have brought me some relief and they're free.

Ever since I was little I took cold showers. I only ever blow dry my hair if I need to leave somewhere that moment or I need to curl my hair after. When I turn 10 I stop taking cold showers and found that I was getting more tired easily and didn’t really feel like doing anything except for getting on my phone. Now I am 13 and this whole year (2018) I haven’t put heat on it, and every shower right before I get out, I turn it cold, wash my hair, and wash my body. Then I feel refresh and cleaned! For me cold showers definitely help!! Before my hair would never curl or crimp in braid but now if I put a braid in after my shower then go to bed, I wake up with crimpy hair! That’s my thought on cold showers!!

I never take cold showers but I always wash my hair with cold water! My hair is colored so that's mainly why but it also closes the cuticle which makes my hair appear more healthy than washing it with warmer water which just makes it look more dry and brittle

Helena Kristonova No, she isn’t, but she doesn’t know the language and she won’t be familiar with the country. It’s harder than you think. Both my parents went to China and Spain and they didn’t know the languages at all, so they had to use a book, not google translate, to find their way around. In fact, they went to Beijing and had to ask many a tour guide to help them.

Cold showers have healed my hair so much!! When I got the big chop my hair went from being about 3 feet long to less than a foot. And after that I really adopted some healthy habits with my hair including putting less product in it, only washing it when it needs it(about once a week) and never letting hot water touch my hair. From this my hair has gotten thicker, less oily, and has much more volume. I highly recommend cold showers for healthy hair😊

I’ve been taking contrast showers! 5 mins hot (hot, not warm) and 1 min cold, repeating a few times, finishing with cold. I made a playlist on Spotify with songs that length so I know when to switch the temperature. ☺️ I like it better than taking just a cold shower because the heat relaxes my muscles, opens my pores, and clears my sinuses, BUT I actually love the cold parts, too. It wakes me up and closes up my pores and hair cuticles like you said. I do feel more energized now than I did when I showered with warm water.

Honestly, I just started taking cold showers because I live in Atlanta and this summer the house that I used to live in didn't have working air conditioning. I've stuck to it ever since. I notice that I have softer, more moisturized skin, I have more energy, and my hair is a lot softer and more manageable. I recommend starting off with warm water and slowly turning the temperature down. After a while you'll be able to just hop in without any warm water at all.

I'm on my 65th day of CST paired with intermittent fasting. 20 hr fast with a 4 hr eating window.
I must say I've learned alot about myself. It doesn't feel quite right taking a hot shower anymore. It is a good idea doing the oil pull while showering, I may have to try that now .

As well as it being great to finish on a cold shower after your usual hot one, hot/cold showers are great to boost your immune system if you feel like you might be coming down with something, or as a preventative. Have a hot shower, as hot as you can take it without burning yourself or passing out. Stay under for about 3 mins or until you are really nice and warm. Then turn off the hot and have a cold shower for 30-60 secs (I find it easier to take the cold if you have it on good, strong pressure rather than just dribbling over you). Repeat this twice more, ending with a cold shower. Then briskly rub yourself dry and hop into a warm bed for about 30 mins rest. If you have heart issues it may be a good idea to check with your GP before doing this.

The cold, brings collagen to the surface, and red blood cells become more active. When this happens, the best thing to do is to use the oils, also moisturise right after the shower. The nutrience from the oils and moisturisers will give you more of a benefit because it is going into the red blood stream.

Yes but stick to a to a Higher Fruit and greens for the 5 days and don't eat about of gourmet raw with lots of nuts. Expect lots of detox maybe take psyllium husk in capsules or powder with water or activated charcoal so you have something soaking up the toxins your are expelling and make it easier for yourself.

I love cold showers! I hop in to a warm shower to start of with and then at the end I turn it on to completely cold.
You feel so refreshed and awake! I also occasionally wash my face in the cold water because it is better that putting the hot water on your face.

I take cold showers everyday here in Singapore where its really warm and humid. It makes my skin supple and the pores on my face is less define.
The difference i noticed about you is that you look rejuvenated compared to your other videos. Your face definitely look less tired.
Very brave of you to have a cold shower in such a weather.

I like what’s called the “Scottish shower” (a practice James Bond did in the novels). You first start washing with hot water to warm yourself up. Then rinse off with cold water. Alternate with hot and cold water throughout your shower. It gets your circulation flowing and is VERY invigorating, but because it lets you warm up and get comfortable first it isn’t pure torture. Jumping straight into a cold water shower isn’t fun, and isn’t necessary to get the benefits. Start with hot water first!

I love cold showers and noticed a huge difference, if you can’t tolerate a cold shower the entire time try doing 2 min after your shower to allow your pores to close and cuticles to improve, that way you get the same results :)
