Way to introduce Christmas to the mix! Hi! Nathan again! I went through the video yesterday and it's nice to see mostly new and different topics compared to previous sessions from the readings, sing-alongs, and discussion topics. As of a few weeks ago, I even started making promotional flyers and programs to pass out around the nursing home I work at. Whenever you upload, I go through the video and list the points of interest discussed in the video to make the program. It gives me a decent preview of what to expect before I show it to the residents. Keep up the fantastic work, DO NOT STOP, and I'm looking forward to showing this to the residents this coming Sunday. They all love you and your service, and so do I! And finally, thank you for the shoutout on your blog post! I've went through some of your videos and you speak at an excellent pace in which the TH-cam automatic captions can pick up clearly. I'll be sure to turn on the auto-generated Spanish captions during this service and future ones too. 😁
Thanks Nathan! I love the way you're preparing and then using the videos to really serve the elders in your care. You may have noticed that because my focus is elders with dementia, I use a lot of the same songs and format week after week ... but it's nice to be able to mix it up for Advent :) Bless you!
Thank you for this TH-cam video. I made a copy and divided it into individual songs. I rotate with a couple of guys leading worship at a care facility and this is ideal for the folks that have difficulty reading small print, or get confused by TH-cam videos that have too much extra stuff in the background or variations in how these well-known hymns were song by them in their younger days. They really hold these hymns very dear. Very, very much appreciate your work here.
@@richardpaquette8352 Richard, that's wonderful! In case you missed it, all of the songs are available individually on their own playlist. You've grasped exactly why I formatted them the way I did, with no fancy backgrounds or text :) Thank you so much for your loving care for elders.

Update: I got 12 residents that showed up and 3 of them said that this service is a blessing.

Also, I'm able to load these, and your other videos, on my phone for sharing bedside.
