Such a beautiful sight. I really wish more people would hang out and play at these small-ish Japanese arcades..

seemed like a pretty cool arcade! definitely a steal at 50Y for sure. appreciated the win quotes translations from SF2 I'm familiar with the english versions so they seem slightly different coming from Japan. definitely my favorite fighting game! cool stuff looking forward to more.

I miss arcades. If I lived in Japan I would spend so much time (and money) here! Thank you for the tour. I hope you can visit more of these smaller game centers in the future.

Thank you for the video! This arcade closed permanently at the end of March 2024. I am now the owner of Machine Number 29 depicted in this video - I got to see it IRL just a few days before the game center closed.
Excellent footage, hope you had fun in Omori!

Ah! I was planning my trip to japan right now and checking different arcade centers to go visit while in there, it's so sad that many have closed in the past decade. I am curious to know which one would you recommend someone to visit, I mostly like classic sega games form the 90's like virtual on, crazy taxi and house of the dead.

@@gochadc You will have an amazing time at HEY in Akihabara, it's Taito's flagship arcade! I have a walking tour of that arcade on my own channel, but Japan POV Tour's video is much better.
There are still lots of GiGO centers around, but if you want to check out one that will be closing soon, the GiGO in Niihama is an oldschool game center that will be closing on October 20th of this year.
Good luck and have fun in Japan - make sure to pick up a Welcome Suica IC card at the airport, it'll help a lot!

En mi pais prohibieron las maquinas arcade en tiendas porque decian que eran iguales a las tragamonedas
