I don't have a lot of constructive criticism about this one because it was really great - you saw how much I loved it in my earlier comment 🙂 The only "critique" I could give is some of the sounds didn't blend with me: clinky, high pitch noises like the jar lid unscrewing or the tapping of the glass utensils against other glass was harsher than the other stuff. For me, those jumped out compared with the mostly soft/buffered noises that are going on. That being said - everyone enjoys different triggers differently, so I may be weird in having the contrast jump out at me. I also kinda missed having your voice so close into the microphone like usual. Your mouth clicks are the best in the business! I say all of this as constructive contributions to do with as you wish. None of this diminished my enjoyment of this video. Love ya Tom!

The audio is SO important in these videos, and I have the added challenge of working with a single mic that's placed out of the frame (which looks better for the roleplay), so it doesn't have that "close" sound like it does during a livestream when I have the mic right in front of me. I got new mics that I'm learning how to use that will hopefully improve that in future videos. The jar lids definitely were louder than I expected when I recorded this, so I tried to tone down the volume in places that I felt was too loud, so, you're totally right about that and the glass-on-glass clinking sounds. I'll pay more attention to that going forward. Thank you! XO

Actually I love the clinking of the glass sounds and that’s what helps me go to sleep. But mostly it’s your calming voice. The last two nights I played this video for my 2 year old grandson because he couldn’t calm down and he immediately became very quiet why he watched. Within 5 minutes was sound asleep. Everyone is different so keep doing what your doing and we’ll all find that inner peace to go to sleep. Thanks Tom! 👍
Tom this setup is STUNNING. I love your laboratory; what a great scenario. Watching you is hypnotic. The lighting is perfect, the organization in the transparent little bins that just barely catch the light makes my OCD heart happy, and your whole atmosphere is fantastic. Well done! And this made me 6 years old again - I would totally drink that elixir and it would make me sleepy because I believe it would🙂

I loved the picking up/putting down sounds of the jars clinking, I loved the picking of the crystals from the liquid, the writing, and just how gentle and soothing you are! everything is slow & gentle. even the picking up/putting down of spoons and stirring stick. scooping the powder too! Thank u!

I listen to this video nearly everyday to sleep. It's so amazing. I've never been able to stay awake the whole thing. Which is a huge improvement from my days where it took hours to sleep. You're a life saver!

Very esthetically pleasing(the color contrasts are amazing and fit the apothecary theme so well)😍 the sounds were just the perfect volume (not too loud and aggressive like some artists) .. you have a very soothing voice so it’s perfect for asmr and definitely liked the eye contact and the fact you carry the conversation so well, gives it that real feel…. This was one of the better asmr videos I’ve seen 👏🏼😴🥰

Tom!!! This was absolutely fabulous. I still haven’t made it to the end of the video yet because every time I watch it I fall asleep lol. My only critique…and this is just personal preference….Is I think it’s more comforting when the speaking level is just whispers, the same way you talk in your lives in TikTok. You have a very very soothing voice but idk maybe try a video where it’s just whispering ? Either way mucho love! ❤️

The reason I don't whisper in this and other roleplay videos is because the mic is out of frame and further away, so the whispering doesn't get picked up as well. When the mic is right in front of me, like for my livestreams or some of the other videos here, I'll usually always whisper so it's not too loud.
