Dalam dunia artis ada yang namanya branding. Biasanya buat mempermudah si artis dikenal banyak orang. Kita lihat di SHINee, Taemin lebih ke childish, sementara kalau pas lagi solo dia terkesan manly. Kalau menurut aku, ini salah satu cara SM ngebranding Taemin. So, aku rasa apa yang kita lihat selama ini baik itu di konser atau reality show, belum tentu 100% sifat aslinya Taemin. Karena balik lagi dia bekerja di label besar yang mana perusahaan tersebut punya cara untuk membesarkan namanya, salah satunya branding. Senang bisa ketemu Shawol Indonesia di sini. Taemin just acts like a spoiled kid sometimes, but I think the members realize that they made him this way XD He’s very polite around other people, he just acts more like the young person he is when he’s with his members. He’s been with them for 10 of his 23-24 years of life, they’re basically his family and he’s the spoiled youngest child.
I’m going to be honest here, the dynamics of Shinee as a group are very different, in my opinion, than other groups. There’s something comfortable about them and yes, even as solo artists they are strong, but they shine brightest together.
Absolutely agree I don't know why, but I always feel like i am returning to my old friends, when i see them. It is a nostalgic feeling of something i have never experienced, but it is there. They were dorky friends in the past, now they are the people i grew up with and have a deep emotional connection to. This kind of a feeling
Shinee has always felt more like a family than a group to me. They all started really young and they raised taemin like their child so it really pulled them together in a very familial way.
Taemin found it difficult to debut back then, and didnt want to debut becs he knew he'd be made fun of for his singing skills. And people actually told him that after debut you wont approve. Taemin fought against all odds and is now one of the most well rounded idols.
I always thought main dancer in a group can't sing nicely. but Taemin! Taemin has gotten so good in singing! He is really a prove of a hardworking idol
Hearing Key says he never thought he'd be in the same group as Onew because he (Onew) was so quiet and nice is kind of reassuring. Because even though Key implied the thought, that Onew wouldn't make it in the rough industry, Onew was able to debut and flourish. 2017 did a number on the group and was especially harsh to Onew. A lesser man would have crumbled, but the leader is still here. Quieter than we normally see him, beloved eye-smile a little harder to find, that effervescence that draws so many people in a little dimmer, but he's still here. Thank you for persevering, Lee Jinki. Your presence and that beautiful voice are always appreciated. SHINee fighting!
I love how they left a glass of champagne and a plate of food out for JH. ❤️ They will always be 5...and I cried when I saw that. So sad....almost like he's just gonna walk up to the table and join them. Ugh. My heart hurts all over again. One thing I love about Shawols.... we're older (most of us). I hope Key will understand that he can get married and live a happy life if he wants... we'll understand if any of them decide to do that. Being with the group for 10 years now, we get it, life and love happen.

I quite shock that key have same thought as me. Upon seeing onew, i still cant believe that he is an idol. This industry look rough and it hard to believe that onew is part of it. I for the first time seeing such person become an idol. Onew look so soft, quiet and always smile. Like its really hard to believe that kind of person choosing this career. But im glad he did. And seeing he survive in this industry for more than 10 years prove he actually capable to do it. I cant express how much i love shinee. Hearing about their debut days and promotions really just warms my heart. I dont think ill ever be able to escape the space shinee has given me. Its filled with so much love and joy, I cant imagine my life without it

When Kibum talked about friends getting married....I guess they are starting to realize it but then get dragged back to the kpop idealism that they have this image of being fantasized as “forever boyfriend”. Makes me sad....Imagine them having to maintain that image, thinking about enlistment, then work life after discharge, then social/love life...that can be such burden. Not to effin mention these trolls/haters not making their lives any easier. Shinee: Don’t give up ok, just keep fighting for YOUR OWN happiness!!! 👊🏼
Yeah..that part did make me a little sad. I've always known about that aspect of kpop even before listening to it. Hearing idols actually say it aloud somehow makes the reality more apparent tho. It kinda sucks knowing that as long as I consume Kpop, whether I like it or not I'm indirectly participating in that "forever bf" image. Who knows, maybe they're dating away from all the cameras, maybe they aren't. Even if they're allowed to by the company tho, it's upsetting to think they probably couldn't do so publicly even if they wanted to; it's not even the jealous fans, but the risk of being hounded by the media/public they could have to worry about.
I'm glad they have quality time together. Once again they show us how SHINee worked real hard since the beginning. *Your skills will never improve once you debut* but you and your brothers show them that they are wrong Taemin. Ah now they can reminiscing about the past and talk about Jjong casually. I'm so thankful to this program, i got to know many things about SHINee
I think they can do this because they made a decision to really deal with their loss -- to not simply "move on" and "get closure" but instead to keep Jonghyun present in their minds, to deal with their grief and not pretend the deep sorrow wasn't there and that Jonghyun will some day somehow return. If you can do this then you CAN talk casually because you are not afraid to revive fond memories to make that person come alive again in your mind. If you are unwilling to deal with the pain then any mention is overwhelmingly painful. It is a paradox. By really feeling deep deep pain you will feel more able to bear it rather than if you just ignore it all. I lost somebody very dear and have never dealt with the pain of it -- so it is very hard to bring him to mind, to talk about him. I keep my pain and him buried deep within me. SHINee is brave beyond words --- suicide is the very worst way to lose anyone. My heart goes out to them and they inspire me. Being strong means allowing yourself to be vulnerable and it looks like they all are doing this. They look like they are delightful company and even not speaking a word of Korean I'd love to hang out with them just to soak up the love that they so freely share with one another. They make me smile. They always give me a warm feeling -- and when I am down they bring me up in a unique way: I always end up wishing the best for THEM rather than for myself. There is a saying, if you want to be happy make others happy. Keeping this in mind: they must be very very happy young men :-)))))))))))
Basically in every episode so far : Kibum scolds Taemin like a mom, Minho scolds Taemin like a big brother, and Jinki defends Taemin or just watches them quietly. 😂😍💗 And in this episode, Key is cooking while Onew is watching Minho and Taemin playing games! I'm 30 myself I feel like they all still so young.They accomplish a lot for their age more than the average person does in their lifetime. Since they done and experience so much at a very younge age they feel old but in reality they still have a whole lifetime ahead of them.
I guess for idols they are a bit on the older side. Frankly speaking, I love them but they would have to either change their ways (as in no more intense dances) or stop altogether as their bodies might not be able to cope up anymore

BTS be doing some pretty intense dancing. Btw I love BTS I discover them before shinee. I guess people see them older because they debuted in 2008 five years before BTS. Shinee where super young then 14 to 18 years old. Come to think of it there's other kpop groups around there age like exo and got7.

What I think I mean is their time is limited already with this kind of performance, like in ballet 20-30ish is peak already, after that it's a decline trend especially with principal roles. Key cooking, Onew taking care of the children (but the truth is, he's just looking at them and not really taking care of them), Taemin and Minho playing. This is the image that had been playing on most Shawols' mind. After 10 years, my dream is now a reality but there's something missing. If Jjong was there, he would be seating by the dining table and looking at Key while cooking. It would have been perfect but it was still a lovely sight with these four.
Jjong was probably there, we just couldn't see him. I imagine him just sitting there, watching, and I think SHINee do too since they left him a glass of champagne.

Taemin is right. If they feel like having a relationship (assuming that they aren't yet), then they should. If they want to marry, then they should. I know it is easier said than done but in the end, they will all come down to that. It doesn't matter if they do it tomorrow, next year or after 10 years. I would like SHINee to be genuinely happy. No matter what their decisions are or will be, I know in my heart that it will never affect their relationship with Shawols. Even if they found the right woman for them, I know that Shawols will still have a part in their hearts.

I’m going to be honest here, the dynamics of Shinee as a group are very different, in my opinion, than other groups. There’s something comfortable about them and yes, even as solo artists they are strong, but they shine brightest together.

Taemin found it difficult to debut back then, and didnt want to debut becs he knew he'd be made fun of for his singing skills. And people actually told him that after debut you wont approve. Taemin fought against all odds and is now one of the most well rounded idols.

Hearing Key says he never thought he'd be in the same group as Onew because he (Onew) was so quiet and nice is kind of reassuring. Because even though Key implied the thought, that Onew wouldn't make it in the rough industry, Onew was able to debut and flourish. 2017 did a number on the group and was especially harsh to Onew. A lesser man would have crumbled, but the leader is still here. Quieter than we normally see him, beloved eye-smile a little harder to find, that effervescence that draws so many people in a little dimmer, but he's still here.

I quite shock that key have same thought as me. Upon seeing onew, i still cant believe that he is an idol. This industry look rough and it hard to believe that onew is part of it. I for the first time seeing such person become an idol. Onew look so soft, quiet and always smile. Like its really hard to believe that kind of person choosing this career. But im glad he did. Yeah..that part did make me a little sad. I've always known about that aspect of kpop even before listening to it. Hearing idols actually say it aloud somehow makes the reality more apparent tho. It kinda sucks knowing that as long as I consume Kpop, whether I like it or not I'm indirectly participating in that "forever bf" image.
Who knows, maybe they're dating away from all the cameras, maybe they aren't. Even if they're allowed to by the company tho, it's upsetting to think they probably couldn't do so publicly even if they wanted to; it's not even the jealous fans, but the risk of being hounded by the media/public they could have to worry about.
I hope one day they can find their own happiness, i really hope they can get married and have their own family

I think they can do this because they made a decision to really deal with their loss -- to not simply "move on" and "get closure" but instead to keep Jonghyun present in their minds, to deal with their grief and not pretend the deep sorrow wasn't there and that Jonghyun will some day somehow return. If you can do this then you CAN talk casually because you are not afraid to revive fond memories to make that person come alive again in your mind.
If you are unwilling to deal with the pain then any mention is overwhelmingly painful. It is a paradox. By really feeling deep deep pain you will feel more able to bear it rather than if you just ignore it all. I lost somebody very dear and have never dealt with the pain of it -- so it is very hard to bring him to mind, to talk about him. I keep my pain and him buried deep within me. SHINee is brave beyond words --- suicide is the very worst way to lose anyone. My heart goes out to them and they inspire me. Being strong means allowing yourself to be vulnerable and it looks like they all are doing this.
They look like they are delightful company and even not speaking a word of Korean I'd love to hang out with them just to soak up the love that they so freely share with one another. They make me smile. They always give me a warm feeling -- and when I am down they bring me up in a unique way: I always end up wishing the best for THEM rather than for myself. There is a saying, if you want to be happy make others happy. Keeping this in mind: they must be very very happy young men :-)))))))))))

I'm 30 myself I feel like they all still so young.They accomplish a lot for their age more than the average person does in their lifetime. Since they done and experience so much at a very younge age they feel old but in reality they still have a whole lifetime ahead of them.

Taemin is right. If they feel like having a relationship (assuming that they aren't yet), then they should. If they want to marry, then they should. I know it is easier said than done but in the end, they will all come down to that. It doesn't matter if they do it tomorrow, next year or after 10 years. I would like SHINee to be genuinely happy.
