    I am happy to see that I am not the only that goes through many trials and tribulations only to find out that I already have an ATV that works good. Haha! That brush should work good for lesser amounts of snow.

      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard to replace a ATV, it is so versatile. The brush was mainly intended to brush rocks from the road where the girls and their horses ride but it works for small amount if snow as you say.

    Lots of weight will help. We are getting lots of snow here. 20 cm two days ago and 15 cm tonight into tomorrow.

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว

      True! We had a couple of warm weeks since this was filmed so no snow here now. In fact, today was about 3+ and sun, felt like spring was on it’s way! Snow look nice but 35 cm in a few days is a bit too much for my taste!

    Do you still have the snowplow for Komatsu?

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but haven’t used it for a long time. Much easier to use the ATV. If we get a really bad snowstorm I might use it.

    I’ve never seen such small chains lol . But that brush works really good on the snow

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว

      They are small but I actually have even smaller ones for other vehicles. The cheap chains don’t have studs or only a angled v welded to the chain. The expensive ones have the hardened studs welded on. I think these are a bit in the middle. The steel seems to be of high quality, probably they come from a Swedish manufacturer called “kedjan” witch translates to “the chain”.

      Oh, yeah, the brush works but the Honda is much better!

    see about maybe a counter weight or some other weight for the rear end to help weigh it down a bit more and a set of knobby tires maybe for traction

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good idea! My plan is: adapters for the wheel weights so they can be put on the wheels, knobby tires and and a counterweight in the rear. I also need to get the speed up a bit, it is soooo slow right now! I primarily want to use it during the summer but it is good if I can also use it in the winter.

    Nåja nu har du ju provat iaf, de kanske finns nån snöslunga som man kan montera istället? Men en sån lär väl vara dyr, och om man har nytta av den 3-4 ggr per år så är det väl inte riktigt värt det.

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ja en slunga är säkert bättre men som du säger, behöver inte använda den speciellt ofta. Har ju fyrhjulingen och även plog till grävaren. Har iofs funderar på att konvertera en Stiga Park slunga för att passa denna, de är inte så dyra.

    You could let a little air out of the tires and then install the chains and re-inflate....my 2 cents.... not sure if you did that. Great vids. Before you know it you will have all kinds of equipment like me for snow...plow truck, tractor, snow blower, UTV with a plow and a mini excavator.....and of course a shovel....😃

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I did let air out but the tires are almost 30 years old so stiff a British upper lip. Then I forgot to air them up and popped the tire of the rim….No plow truck yet but ATV and and mini ex is a part of my machine stable. You got video of your stuff?

    The brush did a lot better than I thought it would. How long is the snow season there?

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! It did alright but was a but cumbersome to use. I still prefer the ATV. Snow season ends March to April but some years we don’t get any snow at all.

    Brushing away snow do work great, maybe best for moving away the snow from grass and places where you doesn't want to do damage to the ground.
    Maybe you need to buy Osmo Action 3, then you will have 2 hours batterylife in even cold temperature, but don't buy it used since the best batches is made from November and later on.

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I had no other alternativ then it would be a good alternative and perhaps more for narrow patios and stuff. I might have a look on the Osmo later but for now this will have to suffice. I have extra batteries for the GoPro but didn’t notice that I ran out of juice while filming. 2 hours is great battery life!

    Never could understand standing and plowing at the same time. Dental surgeons love it as when (not if) you hit something....and your standing....Your face will quickly met the nearest hard object and smash your face good. A LOW center of gravity is prefered.

    • @NilsKall
      @NilsKall  ปีที่แล้ว

      The plow trips if it hits something. If i go faster I sit but here I wanted full visibility of the plow since it was a bit tight. Thanks for watching!

    Looks like you are having husqvarna rider withdrawals. your so ready for spring u can just taste the grass clippings… do you dream of driving the husqvarna rider through a prairie field of moderately tall grass and watching it chop up all the grass clippings as it discharges them from its chute? do you dream of beautiful sunsets while sitting on your husqvarna rider as you gaze at a freshly cut yard?…… I think you need help nils, the first step is admitting that you have a problem, it’s ok we’re here to help you 😂hahah
