The first half of the season was so bad that even though the team would have finished 2nd in the league table comprised of the last 19 games they still went down.

Put their older selves together with peak Di Canio (as he was at that time) and we’d have won the league. The timing was right but all wrong at the same time.

You can tell this guy is so big on fitness. Not an ounce of fat on him and he is like restless to go on a jog lol. I think that is one of the things he was not liked for in management. Like a PT, fitness oriented, that is not wrong in professional football! It's very useful.

Di Canio knew exactly what he was doing at Everton, he knew full well there was no chance of scoring, it’s not as if it was chest height, he had to reach up above his head and to the side to catch the ball. Not even Paolo could have scored from that position. But he’d get the plaudits for it though so that’s why he did it.
