ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜನತಾ ಪಾರ್ಟಿಯ ಶಿಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾದ, ಅದ್ಭುತವಾದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಶಿಸ್ತಿನ ಪಕ್ಷ ಅಂತ ನಮಗೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಇದೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳಲ್ಲಂತೂ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಸ್ತು ತುಂಬಿ ತುಳಕುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಂತ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ಶಿಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮತವಿದ್ದರೂ ನಗರಸಭೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ-ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ನಾಯಕರು ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆ ಇದು. ಈ ಶಿಸ್ತಿನ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಇಡೀ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂತ ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ವೀಡಿಯೊ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೀನಿ. ರಾಣೆಬೆನ್ನೂರು ನಗರಸಭೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ-ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. 35 ಸದಸ್ಯ ಬಲದ ನಗರಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಬಳಿ 15 ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಬಳಿ 10 ಸದಸ್ಯರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಕ್ಷೇತರರು ಸೇರಿ 10 ಜನರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಶಾಸಕರು, ಸಂಸದರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದರೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮತದಾರರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 37. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ನಗರಸಭೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರೇ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ, ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಕಮಲದ ಹೂವಿನ ಚಿಹ್ನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೆದ್ದ ಆರು ಜನ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದ ಬಸವರಾಜ್ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಸೇರಿ ಏಳು ಜನ ಮತ ಹಾಕದೇ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾಬಲ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಎರಡೂ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
Another excellent and amazing example of discipline within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state has emerged. We all know that BJP is a disciplined party. In recent months, discipline has been strictly maintained within the party. Now, another good example of discipline has surfaced within the BJP. Even though BJP had a majority, Congress candidates won the elections for the posts of Mayor and Deputy Mayor in the municipal council, and BJP leaders celebrated this rare victory. I felt it was important to share this example of discipline with the people of the entire state, so I am making this video.
The elections for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor posts of the Ranebennur Municipal Council were held on Tuesday. In a municipal council with 35 members, BJP has 15 members and Congress has 10 members. There are 10 members from a local party and independents. With the inclusion of local legislators and MPs, the total number of voters was 37. In the previous term, both the Mayor and Deputy Mayor were from BJP. However, this time, even though Congress had fewer members, they easily won both posts because six BJP members who had won under the party’s lotus symbol and MP Basavaraj Bommai (a BJP leader) abstained from voting.
