Good afternoon sry running behind here just got to watch the video great video brother and thanks for taking us that can't be there along for the ride have fun be safe till the next one
Ol Goliath is a beautiful beautiful truck you should have put him inside take care be safe and thanks again. Can't wait to see what ya bring us from inside mat's.
DEAR GOD YES!!! Squeaky hood mounts are infuriating. Maybe pick up some hood socks, I think they're called that. It's a little cloth thing that goes over the rubber bumpers on the firewall. Beats the hell out of grease.
@@amsoiladam They dry out over time. The acid at the streakin' beacon doesn't help old rubber either. They might have neoprene or polyethylene bumpers by now. Last time I drove was in 2010. A lot has changed in 13 years.
Yeah, like I was saying I had almost 10,000 pounds on you still. I think a lot of people underestimate how heavy Goliath actually is. All that siding you see is all steel plate. Not aluminum not fiberglass. All steel.
Welcome to Louisville, boss.. don't go downtown to the "big four bridge" or downtown altogether.. well, maybe go to the Louisville Slugger Museum.. I live in Middletown, which is a neighborhood in Louisville.. Hope you have a good time / visit.. Have a bourbon for me.. Oh yeah, we've had almost 30+ murders this year in Jefferson County, so... stay outta downtown Louisville. The airport is Muhammad Ali International and UPS world hub.. ALL international flights come to Louisville get sorted and fly back to wherever they came from.
Chances are I will not leave the exposition center for the entirety of my visit this year. I didn’t bring a support vehicle like I normally do and I’m not gonna try to navigate Goliath around downtown.
Might consider an Eaton Fuller 13 speed. The ability to split the top side keeps the engine closer to the center of the torque sweet spot. Last one I drove was ~600 rpms between full gears, & ~300 rpms between the splits. Definitely keep the original tranny for history sake, but maybe upgrade the drive train for better performance.
Yes, I definitely want to do the 13 speed. Unfortunately the engines is little trickier because it’s a DDEC 1 and there’s not a lot of stuff available for it , Specifically tuning

Which really weird as I never had a problem with it until we went to Daytona this year a couple weeks ago

They make Hood socks that go on the rubber boots to keep it from squealing might find some at the show. I'm 34,200 empty I pull a tanker in

Looking forward to the videos, glad you made it safe. You are right, it looks strange without the trailer. :)
Thanks 👍

Glad you enjoyed it
Gitty up go big dawg !!!
5 Star !!! Big motor... 98 !!! I drove one of those that would pull 250k gravel no problem
Yeah, it always pulls, it’s just a lot slower with the trailer on it
My wife leaving in the a. m.(Thurs) for MATS. She is office manager for a trucking company in Rome, Ga.
That’s awesome, tell her if she sees me the flag me down and say hi
Great video Adam the scenery is beautiful other than the traffic jam you got caught up in. Have fun at MATS.
Thanks! Will do!
You need a headliner with the AmAd logo..yes?
Someday I’ll get around to doing this interior
David musta been right behind you for a while there.. Goliath was smokin!
Gotta have the SKYLINE CHILI !!!

Yes, an updated 13 speed is definitely on the list. Not sure when it’s gonna happen but it’s on the list.

Best part is you've got the skills & equipment to do it yourself. That'll save a ton on labor.

Weather stripping for the hood will surely be available at the show..
What do you use for rear camera ???
I don’t
Good evening. Have you ever thought about putting a 13speed in him and beefing up the engine???
Yes, I definitely want to do the 13 speed. Unfortunately the engines is little trickier because it’s a DDEC 1 and there’s not a lot of stuff available for it , Specifically tuning
I think it would be more enjoyable and efficient to drive f t had a 13 speed Eaton. Maybe a swap n the future? Just an dea.
Yes, a 13 speed is definitely on my list. Unfortunately there’s some things I have to prioritize first but I’m looking forward to that project.
I HAVE A 1 1/2 hr ride to my bank in Atlanta tomorrow... why no Chase in NC ???
I have no clue
I miss my 5 ☆General
I have a load lock for you.. used in my move up no longer needed
Awesome
Are ya beaten five miles per gallon yet??
