この物語は地獄谷野猿公苑の群れの偉大なメス頭（いわゆる女王、メスの序列１位のサル）である「トックリ00」の全盛期を追い続けたドキュメンタリーです。
地獄谷野猿公苑の群れは公苑設立以来、現2023年までの間に8頭のメス頭が存在してきました。
この「トックリ00物語」の主人公の「トックリ00」は地獄谷野猿公苑史に名を残すことになるでしょう。
日本全国のモンキーパークのメス頭を見てもトックリ00ほどの強烈な存在感と個性を持ったメスは存在しないと思います。
トックリ00は世界中に多くのファンを持っています。
トックリ00は8代目、今もなお現存するメス頭です。
トックリ00は2013年にメス頭の座につきました。
私が彼女の存在を知り密着を始めたのは2015年からです。
この「トックリ00物語」はトックリ00の全盛期である2015年～2019年をメインに、その前後も多少含めて展開していきます。
ぜひこの偉大なメス「トックリ00」を知っていただき、この極寒の山岳地帯に今も生きているトックリ00の強烈な生き様をこの「トックリ00物語」で楽しんでいただければ、と思います。

Tokkuri 00 is a great leader. She has a No Nonsense, and is deeply loved. The female fell safe with her. That shows the power she has, as well as Grace. She was taught well by her mother.
No disrespect meant by my reply, but is there a reason why you're using the past tense "was"? The last time someone recently asked whether Tokkuri 00 is alive, they were told that, yes, she is.
Also, on the park's official channel, Jigokudani Monkey, they were filming her just a few months ago.

Please don't apologize! 🙂 The reason why I asked you about this is because the way the description is written, where it says something about films from 2016 thru 2021, has made a bunch of people confused, including me. So, I actually asked the woman who films the official videos for the Park and frankly, I was still kind of confused, but in the end the answer was that she's not dead. It was a *long *journey to get the info! 😂
It can be hard to distinguish one monkey from another! I think you're absolutely right about this one being the older one who *is* really dead. I can't remember her name, but she had a baby with a dark face and the baby spent a lot of its time alone. I always felt really bad about that!
