Hi, do you still have that knife? What about up/down blade play ? If you open knife and hold blade with finger and thumb a pull a little… does blade comes out a bit or not?
It is very similar to a Tonto the only difference is that it has a little more of a round shape at the tip portion of the knife making it more difficult to sharpen but as far as use it will function similar to a Tonto and can be used for tactical as well as self-defense and other cutting and stabbing tasks so I would say typically it is better to go with a standard Tonto due to ease of sharpening but this one obviously looks quite a bit cooler hope this answers your question 🙂
Haven’t seen one for awhile unfortunately. Just grabbed a Bounty Hunter with a regular tanto blade on NCblades today though so maybe they will have the hellhounds again soon!

Nothing about this knife is more practical than any other Ultratech haha, it’s just cooler 🤣
