    The 425 will always hold a special place in my heart and I’m pumped to see it this year . At a time when everything is falling apart the 425 always put a smile on my face ♥️

    If CNJ Pacific 833 is brought back maybe it should have the privalage of meeting with 425 and especially switcher 113. The 6 wheel locomotive was a stalemate at Communipaw in Jersey City.

    I though the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railroad ran excursions FROM Jim Thorpe

    Man PA is awesome with steam. Some day I gotta do a road trip to capture PA steam.

    Too bad they can't find an E or F unit or an old ALCO PA to put behind the steamer. The same thing happens on mainline trips. Sign of the times, I guess. Great sound. I'm sorry I missed it. Thanks for posting.

    Great sound, actions, compositions, but the fact there is a diesel pushing is chopped and screwed. I know that there is nothing that could be done about this, but I still hate it. Nice video work especially picking the filming locations.

    I don't think that diesel was online, or even running for that matter. It was dead silent as it rolled by.

      I think it was for backup, if 425 fails, the diesel will haul the train.

      @@kackdackel9170 I heard that it also provides electrical power for the rest of the train

    Why is there a diesen engine behind the steam loko? Were these diesel lokos working?

    • @kackdackel9170
      @kackdackel9170 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course, the R&N railway is in the Lehigh Gorge (mountains) and the diesel engines helped the steam locomotive by pushing her up or if the steam locomotive fails (which can happen at any time) they are the backup.
