Rorschach voice sounds like my high school Batman impression.
Sometimes he sounds pretty close to Jackie Earle Haley, but a lot of the time he just sounds like parody Batman from 2010.

Rorschach sounds like me when I tell my mom I don't wanna go to school cause I'm sick

Reminds me of the movie boy kills world where the main protagonist hardly could speak but the thoughts in his head makes him sound like a video game action voice just so he sounds cool to the audience lol it's goofy but that's what he thinks is awesome in his mind and shows what are would be heroe is and acts like in reality

It is BONKERS that this title hasn't gotten an animated adaptation until 15 whole years after it got a live-action one.
And it looks exactly like Snyder's movie only animated. I don't understand why this exists
@@Matt_Bright_1983I wonder if they’re just going to go back to the original ending with the intergalactic squid to more seamlessly tie into or make more sense to people who had only seen Snyders Watchmen and didn’t understand the Watchmen HBO show… but that’s just my guess 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
No it doesn't lol you're seeing some scenes that match what he did. But a lot of that was just a shot for shot replication of what Dave Gibbons drew. @Matt_Bright_1983 Snyder changed and left out A LOT. If you're familiar with the book you'll see the stuff that's different.
It’s a bit bonkers I will admit.
On (HBO)Max they have the comic read by a narrator as each panel is shown, that’s the only animated version I’ve ever seen
The showrunner just confirmed he did not change any dialogue from the original visual novel. It's pretty much the original Allan Moore script.

I wish the voice for Rorschach was closer to Alan Moore's take on it. For those who don't know, there's a interview with Moore on TH-cam where he read's a portion of Rorschach dialogue. It was a little eerie because it was like the character came to life.
This Rorschach sounds like if Will Arnett's Lego Batman got a piece of that lobster lodged in his throat.

Ahh to read Watchmen again for the first time. Enjoy mate!
Can’t wait to see the confusion when people who only watched the movie realize it didn’t even cover half the story and characters from the novel

The title does specify "Chapter I".
The Ultimate Cut covered basically everything tho lol
Yall shoulda just called Jackie Earle Haley to come back and do the voice
And Morgan for the Comedian..
Fact
Comedian is voiced by Rick D. Washerman and Titus Welliver for Roscharch
And Billy Crudup as Dr Manhattan. He had such a haunting voice, it was perfect
And Matthew Goode as Ozymandias
Rorschach was the best part of the live action film. Jackie Earle Haley nailed it both in terms of the voice and the acting / appearance. Though the casting in that movie was pretty great overall come to think of it.
"nailed it" as in, nothing like what Alan Moore intended the character to be

No, it couldn't have. Basically nobody does traditional animation for big budget projects anymore and definitely not WB. The last Disney hand drawn animated movie Princess and the Frog flopped, and they never did another because of it.

@@michaelharmon8960if you think the Snyder film and the book are close you are simply foolish. The fact is that you clearly did not comprehend Watchmen. The problem with Snyders film is he did not understand the source material and instead of being nuance deconstruction and character study he turns it into an edge lord super hero film. He added more violence to scenes that were already violent in the source material for no reason. There was the fact the costumes were made sleeker which should not be the case, the fight scenes were made slick where as they should be awkward. The changed ending devalued or completely disregarded other scenes. I can keep going but the point is that Snyder turned a very nuanced and complex work into a simple minded R rated edgy movie.

The watchmen is so cool this is what superhero animation should be all about
Part 1 is probably an hour of 50 minutes and part 2 is probably the same combine that with the way they adapt the comic is probably a two hour long film for both parts.
DC animated movies are usually 75 to 85 minutes long.
Unfortunately at most it’s going to be three hours.
To show how much is going to be cut out - Snyder’s final cut is four hours and still missing parts of it.
Part 1 is 83 minutes.
You're assuming only two parts.

If The Long Halloween can't even get more than two 80 minute parts, no way Warchmen will.

Alan Moore is rolling over on his couch right now.
Watchmen in the first place is famous because DC/WB pushed marketing on it non stop.
Objectively it offered absolutely nothing new, just ripoff of already established ideas and combined at best.
But that's also majority of Moore's carrier in comics in the first place. (And to be fair Superman is Wylie's Gladiator ripoff in the first place, but at least With some novel ideas before and after 1938 by Siegel).
