Thank you so much Ann, I really really enjoyed watching you creating this amazing and gorgeous card and hat box too. You are absolutely amazing 🤩 with the things you bring us all. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I'm in the US, these would be GREAT place settings for a Kentucky Derby Luncheon... ! Or, when a lady turns 50, and joins the "Red Hat Society" it would make a great card, centerpiece, place setting... my goodness.. I Love this!
Thank you again Ann for a wonderful tutorial for the fantastic hat and matching box. It was very generous of you to take the time to do a second video and you have explained everything brilliantly. I am still amazed that such a stunning project can be made by actually be made by us by following your tutorial. What a brilliant teacher you are.
Ann this is the cutest hat and hat box I’ve seen. I do not have any circle dies that large but I may use a protractor or my scan n cut. This card with the box are great for Easter, Mother’s Day, or birthday days. You truly inspire us. Thank you for sharing your talents.
I think these would make great Snowman hats for around Christmas time as well. I don't care that other people say your videos are too long, I appreciate longer videos especia6hlly since they're more detailed.
Yes, Thank you!! Lovely and so easy to follow, can’t wait to make it! Have a lovely day, you’re the best at explaining things as you go so it is really appreciated. Take care.
Stunning! I have two granddaughters' (teenagers) birthdays coming up soon and what wonderful cards this would make for them. Our daughter would like this pink version. I think I may be making many of this card/box this year. Thank you for sharing and the slower video which is much needed by me. God Bless.
Ann, that is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing...I am going to have to try this. My mom is no longer with us, but I have 3 daughters and 2 daughters-in-law who would love LOVE it!!!! I can't wait to get started!
I looked up the video, bc I hadn't seen a hat easel card, and, it just sounded pretty. I watched the original video, but, thought I'd watch And share this one. Thank You. It's a Beautiful Card for that Special Someone. And, Easily, a men's card, with slight alterations! Thank you for Sharing!!
Love these hat cards and boxes they are the perfect little gift I have done a few and have always got super comments.Another perfect project your great at explaining everything. Thanks for sharing x
Thank you so much for this excellent tutorial, which I found very easy to understand. I love the pretty colours you have used for both hat and hat box, Thank you, Anne New Zealand
I think this is one of my favourite tutorials! It is soo pretty and elegant. I hope I can do it justice. I don’t have large enough circles, but have a circle cutter, so I’m going to attempt it. It does look tricky but I am determined to try because it’s so GORGEOUS!
@@PositivelyPapercraft I believe she means to glue the tabs OVER the 1st circle rather than folded under, then glue the 2nd circle over the tabs to cover.
Hi Ann just found you on u tube, I loved watching your tutorials can’t wait to have a go at making this hat and box Thank you will be following all your tutorials x💐stay safe 🌈❤️xx. Happy Crafting x
Yet again Ann you have amazed me with this stunning hat and haggis card it is beautiful i will be making this for my mother in law for mothers day so thank you for all your hard work x
Hi Ann, Wow this is a beautiful project, when you did the card it was a stunner! Having the hat box to go with it is a great idea, and finishes it off beautifully, just love it thank you for doing the video. Regards.
Oh Ann this is gorgeous, I would no way ever would be able to cut a circle by hand without it looking like an egg shape, well done and thank you for this tutorial, xxx
Thank you so very much for this tutorial. I can get it much better at this time. It must be something about being older lol!!! So very thankful for your kindness it is a lovely hat and box. X
Hi Ann love your designs and videos I don't have many die's so I will be using my Brother Scan n Cut i know you are learning to use your cutting machine it is great for doing circle's.
Hi Ann. Fantastic, so charmingly pretty ! This video is well appreciated, your patience is endless. Thankyou for taking the trouble to share what after all is a work of art. Love it.
Thank you for your lovely tutorial Ann. I made my first attempt with plain white card, just to see if I could do it, and decorated with silk narcissi, makes a lovely Easter bonnet, but got so frustrated cutting the 'v's for the hat, that I made the box square. My second one I used pink pearlescent card and that came out a treat, tho still trying to find the patience to attempt your gorgeous circular hat box. Thank you so much, for making it look so easy to do x
Your very welcome Sandra. I said in the video I don't like doing circular boxes and I dont lol. Just keep trying, they take time and patience to master but when you have it in the bag they look great :-) xx
I love the hat card,i have not made one yet but i think its time about now :) I love the tutorial and i really love your pastell coloured cardstock and flowers so beautiful :) Big hug from a sub in Norway
This is so beautiful ❤️ Thanks so much for your inspiration Ann. I just finished my first hat and round box. It's absolutely adorable. 😍 I love watching your videos. ❤️ Keep the crafting coming 😁
Hi Ann , I am playing catch-up at the moment so have just watched your gorgeous creation, what a beautiful hat and hat-box so lovely, thank you for sharing xx
you could cut the odd shape circle with your scan n cut Ann, i've also just remembered I have a circle cutter lol. So glad as i'm hopeless with scissors xx
I Love your easel hat card and round box. I am unable to find a circle die large enough for the card base. Can I just make 2 separate circles and just fold over a small bit of the sides and glue together to create a the fold?
Hi Anne , Literally only discovered your channel a few days ago. I think this card is really beautiful and can’t thank you enough for sharing how to make it. Hugs xx : )
Such an adorable Easel Bonnet Card and box!!! You would think someone would come out with a border die that cuts 'teeth' along a strip of cardstock for circular projects. If anyone knows of this die, I'd love to know the brand and name of it so I could purchase it! So appreciate you sharing this...thank you!
HI Ann, I'm not sure if you know, the 3 dots on top right of the screen let you slow down a video or speed it up. Something I found out from someone who mentioned it on another site. Its really good for watching make videos x
Omg Ann, this is absolutely gorgeous, on my way to make one right away got a friends birthday coming up in next couple of days she will love this as I do thanks again for fabulous tutorial xx👍❤️❤️❤️
I am making seven of these for Mother's Day. It's not too early to source my paper and flowers. I already have the dies. I am making a prototype from plain card stock. Did you make your foam flowers or did you buy them? Thank you so much for sharing this video. I am going to take this hat and hatbox to my scrapbooking group that meets monthly for "show and tell". We just met yesterday, so I will take it to our March meeting. They will be amazed!
Love this project, if you use a circle cutter instead of the dies you can cut the box lid that 1/16th of an inch bigger that you need. Can you make a hat so the lid of hat opens for some Easter candy.
Ann can I make a suggestion to you. I found it very awkward to try and add the circle part on the way you do it. I adding mine to the inside and found I got a much neater circle. I did have to add an extra circle on the outside. I hope you don't mind me saying this because I love everything you do.
Love this idea but when gluing the circle it is easier and quicker to lay it flat onto the desk and work your way around pushing the tabs to the edge of your circle
I love how you look at dies and then find ways to recreate them without. Found your craft videos and really love them♥️
Thank you so much Ann, I really really enjoyed watching you creating this amazing and gorgeous card and hat box too. You are absolutely amazing 🤩 with the things you bring us all. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags

You can do it! It may be worth doing it in some card or paper you don't particularly like just to practise. Its such a beautiful gift x
If you glue tabs to outside of circle and cover with another circle it's much easier and give it's extra strength x lovely project and paper colours x
Yes I said that in the video. Thank you
Thanks I didn't get that in the video how they were glued together or if they were cut whole 2complete 2 circles welded.
@@revrebecca222 I am sorry i have no idea what you mean
