Horus is this weird hybrid of Warrior-Support-Assassin, and I love him for that, he’s got pretty damn good scaling on his 1+2 and they are also amazing for peel, and his ult is the best team oriented one possible, and the three/escape is pretty good too!
@@deimos63 im not the best with this term. but i think it means like, getting enemies off of your teammate. like for example, he mentions horus' peel potential due to his combo because horus has a stun and a knockup + slow which is great setup to turning around a fight, or letting your teammate escape and back off
FYI yall, HOG is no longer necessary w recent changes. It's alot easier to get to lane in time now. You could save it to confirm a later buff, but not necessary for the start.

@@0mn0mable my build is a bit odd but works really well most of the time: sigil, breastplate, transcendence, genji's, hydras, (x) where x is either shifters, cad shield, magi's revenge or spirit robe depending on the situation; If u feel like u need more damage go shifter's, if they have antiheal and u feel like u need more healing go cad shield, if ur getting cc chained in fights or they have a lot of hard cc that doesn't do a lot of damage go magis revenge or if u just wanna be more tanky go for a spirit robe. Late game upgrade sigil to old guard and if u go spirit robe then u will have 60% cdr (overcapped) so u can sell breastplate for nemean or spectral. If they have a little bit of healing and not alot of constant healing (eg: Shiva, cerb, etc.) u can swap the sigil for tainted and go tainted amulet late (some gods like chaac and Achilles actually have pretty decent healing late but most players level chaacs 3 and Achilles 2 last as they do no/very little damage, so going just tainted into them should be enough for u to win lane). If they are being cringe and have a lot of healing get tainted + get either contagion or pesti in place of breastplate/genji's and brawlers in place of Hydra's. If ur up against a clio or pele or someone else who u know is going to build soul eater get tainted and try to get brawlers first item (after starter) if u know their early game isn't super great; If ur against a Mulan that's building soul eater I go tainted+brawlers in place of trans, the issue with this is that u can't build trans cuz ur next damage item is ur 4th item (including starter) which means that it's probably too late to get it stacked up, but if u can then go for it. Trans is a massive power item so not having it really nerfs ur damage. This build has 2 main power spikes that u should really capitalize on: 1) when u buy breastplate and 2)when u BUY transcendence. Try to fight as much as possible as soon as u hit these power spikes, especially trans since just buying the item gives u ~60 power.
@@0mn0mable oh and a tip for Horus and why my build has hydras In it: after u 2 somebody u can actually auto-attack cancel into his 1; his 2's stun is like a split second more than the animation for its cleave part so u can auto the person u just stunned and they will still be in range for u to knock them up with the 1. This along with the fact that the ranged basic attack after his 1 can proc item effects makes hydras a must buy item on him imo. This aa cancel does have some caveats tho - if ur up against an Achilles or a sobek or someone else with either an really fast animation dash or a movement ability in which they are knock up immune, if u try to aa cancel them they'll be able to just barely dash out of range of ur 1 thereby negating like 50% of ur damage. So my advice is to simply not aa cancel against a god like this.

I’m a bit of a new player and whilst trying out the gods to see who I liked, I went to Horus and as I tried him I couldn’t belive he was a warrior cause he’s abilities seemed to fit perfectly in the support category
Honestly playing warrior/assassin support is so fun, I don't mind playing support, in fact it's second favorite role behind solo, but it gets boring playing guardians, except Ares, gotta build full aura.
frick yea horus supp, champion of the first bloods. I really like runeforged on him :P also retreating from wave and then 3ing to the wave when they push up to quickly cover alot of distance they often dont suspect the poor supp to clap their cheeks. also teaming up with the jungle too gank w ult can be really strong especially if the mid tags along. and if you havent had enough horus yet you should play him in the jungle ;)

My personal favorite is going into the mr that gives damage reduction, then crit or attack speed reduction armor, and then shouguns or pesalince. Then i sell hyrdas for a hide of the urchin usually and hit max protection and the starter item upgrade is the setinal that gives health after kill. And i like to go curse first then shell second relic for the offensive relic first to go with the agro lane
