I have my hotkey f7 set to select every unit, can be useful in those big rush situations to repair with villagers or selecting all traders. Also helps for the start of nomad!

Keyboard shortcuts, I've set mine on CTRL + 1st side mouse button
check your keyboard shortcuts, its commonly named "select all units"
ctrl + shift + A by default. you can change it to whatever u like.
