  • A piece that I listened to a lot growing up but never actually tried learning myself until recently. There is melancholy and a lot of raw emotion here.
I had the opportunity to try out this piece on a freshly prepped Steinway D, which felt and sounded amazing. Planning to order one at the end of the month!
    Piano: Kawai Novus NV-10
    Piano VST: Garritan CFX Full

I've been searching for so long the perfect version -so desperately, cause so many pianist simply can't feel what Rahmaninov wanted to say.. But now, I think, I found the perfect version. I'm so happy! Thank you so much! Greetings and best wishes from Hungary!

Again, great job. Only one mistake in the whole piece. And it’s laudatory that you roll your left hand over all the arpeggios rather that using your right hand as the rest of us do. I also appreciate your articulation in the final run of parallel thirds at the very end. Dramatic!!

Excellent and beautiful playing. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent. I have the same piano (Novus 10S) and I am recording using my IPhone 13 with the Shure MV88 microphone. However, when recording, I’m not getting your depth of tone. Which piano setting do you have it on-I’m guessing SK-EX Rendering “Romantic” ? Do you mind briefly sharing your recording equipment-camera and mic, and how you have them positioned? I’m assuming the mic is not connected directly to the piano, either. Thanks!
