    I used to do it like that 20 years ago. Now I use a paint brush on my wall lines. I just pour a line along the wall and brush it. Then I use a 18inch roller with a 1inch nap and pour half gallon puddles and pull them out. It's faster and cleaner for me. Also I don't roll fast near the house because of the splatter. 👍🏻looks good tho brother.

      This method is how I've done it forever as well. Many years ago I put sealer on to thick with the dump and spread method and it blisterd to high hell. I went back the next day and sprayed a light mist of xzylene and rolled it and it seemed to fix the issue. So after that this has been my tried and true. But I've learned through the years that every skilled worker finds there own groove that works for them. And I believe as long as it turns out sweet that's all that matters.

    Brand new sprayer, damn that cost about $200, I wish my leaf blower started up that easy, 1 time I over pumped it and my can blew a gasket and sprayer 30% sealer all over my face, it was hell!

    Nice job! Did you have to cut the sealer with anything? I've always had to if I was spraying it, but we usually use crystal clear voc..... it may be a bit thicker than the one you used. I might need to try what you used!

    • @thatjuanshow4485
      @thatjuanshow4485  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No cutting it down is not necessary it's a fairly thin product and it's a cure and seal so it's multi purposeful. In my opinion it's the best and easiest product for the job

      Its the thin fan spray tip that comes with the can. When spraying you just really want to make sure you're putting it on super thin. Better to put a few coats on than thicker ones

  • @Jimmmer

    Didn't have to strip the previous sealer?

    • @thatjuanshow4485
      @thatjuanshow4485  ปีที่แล้ว

      There was no need if it was oxidized or bubbling or anything making it look milkey then I would have striped it off. With something like xylene and a pressure washer. If the sealer is just faded and lost its sheen then a good pressure wash job should prep it enough for a new coat of sealer. I hope this helped have a great day

    I have exposed concrete; should I do one coat or two?

    • @thatjuanshow4485
      @thatjuanshow4485  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Two thin coats is always the best method. With exposed concrete I always like to acid wash it prior to sealing the concrete. If its old exposed probably should pressure wash it before the acid wash even. I use muratic acid about 3/4 gal to 4 gal water spread it around evenly with a push broom as soon as the fizz stops wash it off. It should take away any salt efflorecents before sealing

    • @CorruptionZindabad
      @CorruptionZindabad หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thatjuanshow4485 I'm from Canada, but I'm near the US border. What acid do you normally use? If that acid is only available in the USA, I can go to the USA Home Depot and buy it there ... My exposed concrete already had two coats last year, but I want to do two coats this year as well...which sealer do you recommend??

    • @thatjuanshow4485
      @thatjuanshow4485  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @CorruptionZindabad If your concrete has already been sealed a good pressure wash job should do with no need to acid wash. For sealer I always use a low sheen cure and seal. Everclear by Euclid is my go to it wont be sold at a home depot. I would look up your local concrete supply store or concrete plant if no supply store they will be able to hooke you up way a way better product then youll get from the depot. I choose a cure and sealer over standard sealer because it always the concrete to breathe reducing sealer failures. Good luck Checking your local concrete supply probably going to be a place called Whitcap there everywhere

    9:40 Does the roller leave more lines or does it balance out when it dries?

    • @thatjuanshow4485
      @thatjuanshow4485  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It evens it out better your more likley to leave lines if you spray and dont back roll. The key is light coats heavy coats creates lines in the roller or fish eye in the sealer or even cloudy sealer for trapped air in the sealer

  • @CorruptionZindabad
    @CorruptionZindabad หลายเดือนก่อน

    which roller are you using?
