Another good restoration, but it looks like you need a few pointers on refrigeration work.
1) You need to prep the copper pipe better before brazing it. Use a scotch brite pad wrapped around the copper pipe end and rotate it a few times to get scratches around the radius. This will clean the pipe and help the brazing material stick better and not blob up like it did for you.
2) Use pipe soldering flux all around the copper pipe before brazing. This will help the braze material flow into the joint to create a stronger joint.
3) On the crimped tail you made for the refill port, you may want to keep the end flared a bit and flux and braze in the end. Sometimes crimps can leak. Another option is to just leave the refill port on if it has a schrader valve that self seals and also crimp the line for a double seal.
I have a feeling those braze joints may leak in the future from mechanical stress by the compressor vibrating in operation. But other than those issues, you did a good restoration.

Good job, but I'm not a huge fan of dumping R12 gas into the atmosphere. It's better than the R11 but nasty for the ozone layer.

R12 is not even slightly toxic, it used to be used in aerosols and medical inhalers for things like asthma. The only real danger is it being an asphyxiant in large volumes since it is heavier than air, but so are a whole lot of other gases.
