Nice place for a short vacation and even better to live here long term.
During peak season, when it's very busy, January to March/early April this beach is invariably windy with quite big waves, high tides and lots of man made trash daily being washed ashore. So bad some days tourists were banding together with plastic bags to help clear it up. Lots of natural stuff too being washed up of course. It may be hotter now but going by your video and the web cams April onwards is a far better time to visit. It's so calm now almost unrecognizable.

It’s so sad to see what happened to this beach. 8-10 years ago, there were just Palm Trees, just a view tourists. A place where you really found some rest and nature. Now it’s just a another tourist spot.

You swim in Crystal Bay but you sit amd eat on Silver Beach. There is no such thing as Crystal Bay Beach technically. Also Koh is more closely pronounced as Gaw and definitely not Coe. And sharpen your hello. Its Sa- WAH-dee kahp/hop. Thais cut the WAH so short it sounds like WAT to foreigners but its actually a cut short WAH. Definitely not sawaddy kahp. The actual transliteration would look like sawasdii. Again, that second S is cut so short its actually silent. Also some of those hotels will murder you with tax and service charges as if you were a hotel guest. Better to just pick up some bbq on the way and have a pic nic just bring your trash back home.
