  • DIY ESEE PR4 Liners with Shane Adams
I've been wanting to knock this out for some time and the quarantine gave me the time to do it.
    Cliff Notes:
    .030 G10 liners from usaknifemaker.com
    JG5 Hardware ($6 from Eseeknives.com ---- store tab)
Once installed the knife still works with factory sheath

I too love the ESEE culture of customizing the knives.

I've had my eyes on the PR4 for years. The handle has been what's kept me away. Adding some girth with liners could make this knife a reality now.................and obviously look even cooler. In the meantime, I'm loving many of the others in the ESEE lineup.

Gifted a PR4-BO to my younger brother back in 2018. And regretted it ever since, LOL! Fantastic bush knife by all accounts, one of those knives that’s pretty much on every short list when it comes to wilderness utility knives. Far as I know, he hasn’t tried the mod shown here, he’s been pretty happy with it as-is.

Just received my Esee PR4.. amazing wow. I owned a lot of knifes and returned a lot of knives i didnt liked but i must say this is my first Esee and i love it. Your quality is just really high standard even the package was amazing with the cards and stickers just the overal unboxing was wow. The knive is beautiful and you can just see the quality. Poped the hairs of my arm bloody sharp out of the box. Never had that before. Overall you got a new customer and fan of 🇺🇸USA Esee knives. Thats why i buy USA and Scandinavian knifes no others. Greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱 Europe. 😉👍🏼

I’ve actually come to like the thin scales. I purchased some aftermarket scales (from TKC), and like them, but ended up swapping back to the originals. Liners might be a nice middle ground. Thanks for sharing!

I love knife mods, and the whole "make it your own" philosophy, as we learn to own our lives, jobs, and hobbies, owning our gear and tools is no less important.
ESEE knives, y'all should do a "show us your mods" post somewhere, kinda goes along with those worn, used and abused pics and vids.

This is honestly one of the biggest reasons I love ESEE knives, as a company. The knives are great, yes, but you guys have enough faith & trust in your customers..that you have no problem with us taking apart, and modifying your products, and are not insulted when we do so.
There are lots of other knife companies that will spend alot of time and effort..to tell the customers not to do anything such things with their knives. They'll even go as so far as to put out extensive lists of all the things you should not do with their knives, basically wanting you to spend $400+ dollars on a show piece.
There are, obviously, certain things you should not do with most knives out there, prying being a big one, but you guys dont even worry about any of that. There is not a better warranty out there, than yours!
Those things, and so much more is why I will *ALWAYS* be a super fan of ESEE knives, and reccomend them to everyone!!
Companies pay alot of money, to try and get customer fans, who will reccomend and spread awareness of their products..but all they have to do is follow y'alls business model, your example, and they'd have all that for free.

    • @RandallsAdventureESEE
      @RandallsAdventureESEE  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

thank you....we know it's impossible to make the "perfect knife"....so we welcome our customers to pursue their version of "perfect" with our products...you stand behind us....we'll stand behind yall.
