It's always good to hear that a licensed anime game is actually good. From the footage, the Captain Tsubasa games look pretty good too.

The mega CD game is also really good and was considered a reason to buy the system in Japan, same style of game but they got all of the anime voice actors for the action scenes. They actually managed to get it on the MD Mini 2!

One of my favorite famicom games. If not my favorite outright.

"Last Tecmo Theater Game" - Not true at all. They would use that label for Ninja Gaiden III, Samurai Pizza Cats and Radia Wars.

It's really too bad we didn't get the sequels. The cinematic adventure sports game is the way to go with these underpowered systems. It gets to show off what the Famicom can do, while also offering the sport in a unique way. Will we see Tecmo's little rabbit again before they leave for the Super Fami?

Tecmo definitely has several more games and I think the rabbit does appear in some of them. Keep an eye out!

A shame we didn't get this one, but I get it... by the time they change everybody up for it to be Tecmo Cup II, it would've been late '92 or early '93 at that point.

Speaking of games that other people like that I don't 🙃 The only football game I ever liked on the system was Nintendo World Cup, but I'm also very picky with football games so take that with a grain of salt.
