My dad used to work as a teacher in Baltimore and the happiest I ever saw him was when the high school kid who tore his shoulder muscle showed him his EMT certification. The staff care about kids a lot, they're just too wore down by silliness. They celebrated the end of the school year by throwing a fraternity-level party, only instead of vodka and Fireball and a ton of kegs they had Ole Smoky and Woodford Reserve and filled up a kiddie pool with jungle juice. Doesn't matter if they're inner-city or rural schools, a public school teacher can drink you under the table.

My dad used to work as a teacher in Baltimore and the happiest I ever saw him was when the high school kid who tore his shoulder muscle showed him his EMT certification. The staff care about kids a lot, they're just too wore down by silliness. They celebrated the end of the school year by throwing a fraternity-level party, only instead of vodka and Fireball and a ton of kegs they had Ole Smoky and Woodford Reserve and filled up a kiddie pool with jungle juice. Doesn't matter if they're inner-city or rural schools, a public school teacher can drink you under the table.

i like to imagine some of the kids stealing supplies from potions class to make wizard drugs and sell it to other students.
the closest thing we have to that is the upcoming spinoff of the Boys about a college owned by vought with superpowered kids, which I imagine is just a bunch of college kids abusing their superpowers for personal gain.
This needs to be made into a mini movie. Clortho can't afford feature length.
