Lived here 28 years, only a few miles away. Never knew this place was here, although I've passed though the environs on South Mountain many many times. Thank you for showing me yet another cool place to see, literally in my backyard!
Jordan, such an amazing story, awesome place, so artistic and I love the decor! Just when I think you can’t top yourself, you do!! One of my favorite vlogs. 👍
The things you find to vlog on is fascinating. This really got my attention,it certainly is a jaw dropper. Thank you Jordan that was great. See you tomorrow
I live in Phoenix. Saw this house many years ago. The daughter gave the tour at that time. Both her and the house we're both fascinating and amazing. She told us we were lucky to be on the tour it was the last one of the season. We said oh was it because of the heat she said yes and the snakes. My mother and I bolted for the car with my father laughing hysterically behind us. Thanks Jordan great video.
My dad loved to get in the car and just drive - always looking for something new and different and fun. This is exactly the kind of place he would be drawn to and I can just see him wondering around that castle, imagining himself living there. We found unusual places like this in almost every state. This was a great stop! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Very cool place. Maybe his faith and will to live and building the house, helped him to recover. Even with all his breathing problems, he managed to build such an awesome place. Thanks for taking the time to share with us Jordan.
Neat house for sure. Wanted to say how upstanding it is for Breck to leave his house so clean for the next occupants. So many don't do that these days. So Kudos to Breck for that. Be safe on your journy. Nice vlog 👍🏻😎
Very creative he made a place he would like to spend time living in so nice to see it's still i use for weddings etc . Thank you Jordan and Brek ! Nice one !
Pretty AWESOME Jordan. I sit in my office at night while working. You know how that is and I get more accomplished from Midnight til 5:30 than J can all day long. I keep one of my monitors in just for your vlog while I used the other two for work. Pretty awesome dude. Ever get down Nashville, Tennessee way, let me know and I show you the town and the state of Tennessee.
Wow!! I never heard of this place. He did a good job building the place with free supplies. Fascinating. Thank you Jordan for another amazing vlog. Much love to you and Jah ♥️♥️♥️♥️. Safe travels
Omg I can't believe you're here in my state! I love your channel. I hope you enjoy beautiful Arizona! Make sure you go to Goldfield's Ghost town if you get the chance it's pretty cool as well as the Odysea Aquarium in Scottsdale❤
WOW!! Thank you so much for sharing your visit to this fascinating place!! I absolutely love it and all of the other ones that artistically recycle discarded items into something beautiful 🤩🥰
🦁 Jordan, the Renaissance period and castles fascinate me. This was real cool. Another, Great vlog. 👏👍👏 Give 🐒 Jah, some belly rubs. Wishing you and Breck safe travels to Dallas. 🙏
I enjoyed this one a lot. There is a castle in Florida that was built by a very mysterious man who moved huge stones into place without machines or help. He was from another country and wouldn't let anyone watch him while he worked on it for years. This castle is suppose to be on a lay line and he knew how to move the stones without much effort, there's way more to it but it's been a while since I read about it. I enjoy Breck in your video's lately also, it's nice to hear you two talk about what's what!
What a remarkable place. So artistic and beautifully crafted. I love how he worked in discarded remnants and tiles to create a castle for his loved one. I like the little handwritten notes along the way. It’s like a story being told within the castle walls. Thank you Jorden what an amazing vlog today! I really enjoyed hearing about it’s unusual creation and unique history. Thanks for this fun road trip! Can’t wait to see where you’re going next.
This was amazing! Old, creative and interesting...my favourite things to tour. I bet at night it would take on a whole different vibe. You did a great job capturing the castle!
This vlog was so fascinating. It is always so interesting to see how somebody can create a unique home or place like this with determination, imagination and a labor of love using things that were discarded. Such talent! Thank you Jordan and Breck enjoyed this vlog very much.
Jordan, if you ever get to Florida you need to do a vlog on Coral Castle at Homestead, a compound similar to this but much larger, look it up, you'll be amazed...I absolutely loved your Texas & New Mexico trip. You were stomping around in my territory...BTW, I love the name Jordan so much, that's what I named my son.
There is another one on camelback mountain. I am not sure about tours or anything like this. But just driving past it on the road below it is amazing as it appears to literally grow out of the mountain.
Wow Jordan that was really cool! My great grandfather died from TB. My mom was 5 years old. People who had TB were told to head west because some got better due to western atmosphere.
😊😊😊 Esté video me hace recordar al arquitecto español ANTON GAUDI que construyó con materiales a veces desechables y construyó maravillas, en la ciudad de Barcelona.🎉❤🎉❤🎉 🌐 This castle reminds me of the Spanish architect Anton GAUDI who built with disposable materials and built wonders, which are currently monumental for all times;
The guy actually used to build sand castles for his daughter on the beach. She asked him if he would ever be able to build a castle that didn't get washed away. When he got tuberculosis, he moved out of the home because he didn't want to infect his daughter or wife. When building the 18 room castle, he left little trinkets and surprises around the castle for his daughter to find like pieces of jewelry, gold nuggets and even some cash. Somehow, he'd even acquired a sofa that had been designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. I wasn't aware he'd gotten better from Tuberculosis. He didn't ever see his family again after moving away. I wonder if he'd become obsessed with building the castle at that point. It's too bad he didn't have them join him in AZ. Im sure his daughter would have preferred to have more time with him. His wife and Mary could have helped him finish the castle, too.
Mystery Castle was also in the ending scene of the Peter Billingsley 1982 movie Death Valley. It is where they run to in the night and the twin brother killer finds them.
This is by far the most amazing place you shared with us, I would without a doubt live there, I love seeing places like this, absolutely amazing. Shout out to breck.😎♥️👍

Beyond cool! What a creative, imaginative man who took a death sentence and turned it into a castle. My weakness was for all the kitty rocks.

❤🎉 (Continued)...GAUDI's constructions were futuristic in their time and in this time too, timeless, wonders of construction; in Barcelona Spain
Glad I stayed up!

Jana Deubner I know you have a weakness for cats as I do.
@@scottieburnett5606You got that right! My eyes zeroed in on all of the cat art! Did you do the same? lol!
