Crazy as this sounds, I like the pretty deep message of this movie: you can't have love until you become a fully rounded out human being, and you don't have to give up your edge or ambition in order to love and be loved by your equal, and you should never settle for less than that.
They don't have the raw sexual energy that Wallace Berry & Marie Dressler shared on the screen in the 30s, but Renee & Ewan really do burn up the screen in their own way ! Hubba hubba !! 🙂
