Made by the famous Anders Wissler This is one of my favourite sculptures, I spent many hours as a child looking at it fantasizing about stories from the old times.
It’s a lion, symbol for Stockholm. It’s to stop traffic- this street is mainly for pedestrians, even though ambulances, some taxis etc can pass. In other cities you’ll see other concrete animals with the same function
