One of the best amps I’ve ever owned and played. Only amp I can plug straight into and have all the gain and feel I would ever want. It does every tone. Love my Hellion.
@@groundzeroampworks780How much is your amp going for these days? There are so many good amps coming from small builders these days, it's hard to keep up!
Seriously one of the best sounding amps I’ve heard in a while! It’s like the perfect balance of growl, pissed off midrange, and saturation man. Also the clarity is always there even with the highest gain settings but the high mids and highs don’t seem to ever hurt. Fantastic amp man 🤘🤘🤘
As incredible as this amp sounds in this demo, it sounds even better in the room. This amp is a true labor of love and every detail shows. Well done and congratulations on creating this world class amplifier!
Well done Jeremy, very in depth explanation, that's exactly what I was looking for. Sounds completely badass, has a sick "kerang" to it, with a modern lowend.
@@Domination93 I’m still making them. I just did a run of amps but they’re all sold out. Shoot me a message at groundzeroamps@gmail.com Or go to my site groundzeroamps.com
At 33:12 it starts to get good and at 34:24 the tone arrives. Very, very nice amplifier that seems like it delivers on the characteristics that you are touting. And that is a great thing.
Damn just when I think I want a a mesa I see this. Mfer sounds ridiculous !!! I’m in love and no boost!! Come on ! It sound rich and organic and harmonic which is found in only a few
I'd love to see this in the hands of Jarrod from Tonewars. I've mentioned this amp and this company to him and he was very interested. This seems to be a very well thought amp. Feature rich without being obnoxious. And sounds amazing. You can hear the attitude so clearly. Has that perfect balance of gain and clarity.
@@mbgmail5911 So I am guessing you are in the "anti-boost" category? He get's alot of hate about that. I wish he wouldn't bully the "anti-boost" crowd but he does. He's a "boost or die" guy for sure. OR......do you not like "his" tone? Serious questions. Personally, I'd love to see less gain. But then his tone would be my tone and I kinda like both. I'd love some constructive criticism to take to him. I speak with him 2 or 3 times a week. Thanks for any help you can give ------Ben
@@benburnett8109not anti boost, I think he dials in horrible tones and it gets out of hand with the boost in his case because he uses too much gain. He always has this strange static crakle in the top end and the low end is bloated, everything sounds like it's falling apart. Just listen to the tones he gets and compare to, for example, Zach Wish. So balanced and pleasant to listen to yet still brootal and has enough gain. If I had to guess, I think he has insecurities in his playing where he thinks he needs that kind of gain to feel comfortable but then tone suffers.
@mbgmail5911 thanks for the reply. I watched the guy you recommended and he had good riffs and tone. Funny enough, I'd boost most of his tones to tighten them up. I've heard the crackle and have mentioned it to him. I'd like yo see his channel grow but I feel like he isolates and divides his potential audience. All that said, thanks for your time. Civility can be found on YT.....lol. Thanks-‐--Ben

what serendipity, the very day i got this amp in my hands too, thanks Jeremy. I honestly cant believe how incredible the entire range of tones sounds!
Thanks man, so glad you dig it!

Thanks! I’m glad it was a helpful demo.
U have the amp tones I have wanted for years! I’m interested
Thanks David! I should be building a lot more this year.
A stunning single channel amp, with big balls and attenuation. Made in LA by a guitar player. I need you man :)
Love this comment! Thanks!

Sounds awesome. Great work as always.
I am stoked on your work. I will be reaching out to you.
Thanks Mark!
Absolute beast of an amp! Looks stunning too!! 🤘

Crushing. Sounds like the lowest gain stage cleans up really well.
Yessir ! Thanks !
Great video. Now I know a lot more about this amp, thank you so much. Such a great amp very glad I purchased.

How would you describe to low end and compared to what? I think this amp is truly amazing!
Thanks so much! The low end gets really punchy. It has a lot. But never flubby.
Sounds so cool! How much does this cost in Europe? Do you even ship to Europe? :)
Sounds sick!!!!
Thanks man!
I mean, it really does sound fantastic :)
Thanks!
@@groundzeroampworks780 The short story here is I want one :D Seems to have some of the early Mesa Mark flavors I like so much.
@@Soloist1983 it has absolutely does!
This amp is the bomb. Great job man, like good chocolate, tastes just right.
Thanks brother!
Totally Home Run!
Thanks so much !
Does it take pedals well?
Sure does. I never find the need to use one with it, personally. But you can add boosts etc…for different sounds.
Sounds heavy and tight...badass man
Appreciate it!!
Be nice to hear this amp on a shure 57 and a nice ribbon mic. Need to mic up the cab to get the real sound.

I find myself gravitating towards the lower gain tones a lot when jamming at home. Thanks !
Can you make this amp with carbonfiber tolex??
Should be able to. Any tolex can be custom ordered and sent to the head shell builder.
I listen to these clips and laugh it so nasty and badass 😎
Holy shit. WHERE CAN I GET THIS AMP?!

How can I buy the Hellion 100?

Nice!
Jesus Christ this is the tone I've been looking for for over 20 years is there a website to purchase this amp

I love a good amp that still sounds good down at low volumes.
Likewise!

He'll boost it and somehow make it sound horrible.

Where could we try one of these?
Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of options for trying one in person. Unless you can find someone local who owns one.
