yeah that is definetly not good, but that does also happen when food consumption is dropped. No way should he be dropping water weight two weeks out, but he is more than likely dropping calories. Iv seen it common practice in gyms though to reduce water intake a week before a fight to try make weight, hopefully that is not the case here.
we get around 70 percent of our water intake from food, so it can lead to dehydration etc.
