These theories about ethic migrations in Nigeria should go beyond the folkloric expressions of poorly articulated enthusiasts. As an Igbo person, I want our story to be narrated in an academic way, eschewing prattle, and presenting thoroughly researched fact with archeological evidence. Many of us are highly educated, yet we subscribe to parroting illiterate conjecture about the Igbo. The truth is buried underground. Let’s hold our peace and start digging for real facts, like most other non African civilisations have done.
The day the real truth about the igbos begin to surface, it will be even more glorious than the perfidious insinuation that Igbos (as insulated as they naturally are) have through their travels absorbed the Yoruba and Bini and all what not. SMH

The whole mess is compounded by government complicity under British guidance to discourage historical foray due to a very huge and sinister motive, as well as the emergence of clout chasing due to wide latency and access to the social media phenomenon and fame processes…

One can safely conclude that the Igbo don't know their origin. Can Obi of Onitcha provide his evidence without some baseless stories? Can Obi tell us which Odu-Ifa narrated their presence in Ile-Ife? Do Igbo have the unique Iwo-Eleru unique Yoruba DNA, which is dated to be over 13,000 years? Who were their contemporaries in Ile-Ife at the time? Do Igbo people know about Ifa and how it is the repository of Yoruba people's history? Which Odu-Ifa founded Ile-Ife when the lying Igbo were there? Finally, if your ethnic group have no founding Odu-Ifa, then you do not relate to the Yoruba at all. First what is the meaning of the word (Igbo) is correctly written as i gbo meaning "to mediate" because they are a nation of consecrated priests to mediate between God and humanity. The Igbo language is the fundamental language, it a spoken and a written language of so- called Sudanic "kwa" language. However, The Igbo Empires would spread to Europe, Middle-East, Near and Far East as far as India, China, Japan and Mongolia to establish the great Oriental Civilizations. All these languages have a common root in Igbo language! Before they were called Igbos, they are called (I zara Eli.) meaning you answered God.
The question of who the true Ancient Israelites are has been settled with scientific methods of population genetics. The Igbo were the Jews, the first humans of God's Creation and were called the Chosen People of God or Israel (Igbo language: I zara Eli, meaning 'you answer the Most High God'). The same Igbo were the Ancient Egyptians (Egypt). consonants. (g Y p t). pronounced as... ago Ya, a pa atu . meaning. 'Prays to God and advice from the Almighty God'). who invented the human civilization as we know it today. The Igbo Egyptians disobeyed God's commands and prolife injunctions and were conquered by the Hyksos (Igbo language: 'oha iyi ike si Ose, meaning 'leaders with evil power from God'), and enslave them in their own land Egypt. Under slavery, the Igbo took the name Hebrew (Igbo language: 'oha e bu uru uwa' meaning 'the people that bear wickedness of the world'). The Igbo called on their God Oseburuwa (Igbo language: Ose e bu uru uwa, meaning Almighty God who bears the wickedness of the world') to liberate them from bondage and slavery in Egypt, which led to the Exodus (Igbo language: Chi e du osa, meaning 'God leads the people') through Chad across Lake Chad into Nigeria, and then into Igbo land or Canaan (Igbo language: Oke Nna, meaning 'the allotment of the father'). The Exodus was accomplished by Pharaoh Merneptah (Igbo language: e fere oha Mere nuputa oha, meaning 'the pharaoh who accomplished the push out of the people'), reigned from July or August 1213 BC- May2, 1203 BC, as the fourth pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. Igbo genetics has nothing to do with Yoruba, we are talking about genetics population L1 genes 'Igbo' and L3 gene 'Yoruba'. Some Igbos migrated to Yoruba land, does not make them Yoruba, they are still Igbo with L1 genes the rest are L3 genes.

I recommend that every Igbo person should read the book, “My Odyssey” an Autobiography (self written) by Nnamdi Azikiwe. Chapter 1 page 4, details his genealogy and nativity which is from the “Great Benin Empire” (Bini/Edo people) and the Bini origins of Onitsha. What does he have in common with all the obi’s of Agbor, Onitsha, Iselukwu etc and the Ikwere people, they all say they trace their origins to the “Binis”. The book is online but it’s hard copy and not cheap, I believe though that second hand bookshops in Nigeria would have it. The book is a spectacular read, I am neither Bini or Igbo but it’s worth while.

As the speaker said, some came from Igala and there were intermarriage with the Binis and Igbos. Some Binis moved with them Eastward. So, the Delta Igbos are not 100 percent Igbos. If you doubt my comment, search my comments of the past and listen to the speaker's speech again. Again, all the Delta Igbos are not from Igbo ancestral root only.

@IGBOAREATV Azuka, I just read your response to my comment. You pointed out that the speaker said that Delta Igbos are Igbos with sprinkles of other tribes among them. That sprinkles of others have made the Delta Igbos non homogenous. When you take 1 kobo from 1 naira, the naira is no longer 1 naira. One drop of blood from another race to any race has totally altered the genealogy of that race. So, Delta Igbos today are not 100 percent Igbos. For example, Igala and Bini bloods are in them. Stop calling them Igbos.

Igbo people did not inhabit everywhere stop the nonsense and they were mostly disorganized bush people who the British said were too primitive and had to go to war against Arochukwu to stop the total exportation of Igbo people. The Igbo and their Ibibio cousins from Akwa ibom state claim to be mothers of the whole world but are really Bantu people from Cameroon and Central Africa the original Biafra kingdom.

    Common sense is needed.

      Don't mind them
Yorubaland is more than 1000 years older than Oduduwa himself.
On the the day Oduduwa became king Yorubaland apart from Ife already had at least 1024 settlements including Ekiti, Owo,Oba,Ijebu,Akure, all the Ifon Towns ,Ota,Owu

100 % undeniable proof that Igbos just like other Bantus are in fact the original Hebrews of the KJV Bible but remember that the names in the Bible have been changed, many books have been taken out of the Bible and Christianity including Judaism has changed the true actual meaning of Scripture by turning it into more of a Religion than culture, this confuses a lot of people and make people think of the Ancient Hebrews more in a Religious since rather than a cultural since. The Bible itself is not a religious book and has nothing to do with any man made religions such as the Bible says let's make man in our own image and likeness, .... >>>>> When it's referring to man it's taking about the Hebrews who are the original man >>> Israel my firstborn son KJV ... Now to the point... The oldest skulls found in the Middle East particularly in both Jericho and Samaria are proven to be the very same skulls structures of Most West Africans, particularly those from Bantu tribes, E1b1a Haplogroup DNA was extracted from these skulls in which Bantu tribes has this same DNA Haplogroup including most Black Americans and Caribbeans. Hannible a black man was a Ancient Samarian, why is that so important well because the Ancient Samarians where considered Israelites and the skulls found in both Jericho and Samaria proves that the Ancient Israelites where in fact a people of color or what modern day persecutions categorize as belonging to the so called black / African race which are just titles and has absolutely nothing to do with separate bloodlines of the tribes. Skulls with E1b1a Haplogroup DNA was also found in Egypt which Archeologist dates approx. back to the first dynasties of Egypt but these skulls where found in slave Quarters of Egypt and not the Royal Families of Egypt. The Royal Families of Egypt Mummies where found to have mostly E1b1b Haplogroup DNA which is a Nilotic / Hamitic Haplogroup and not a Bantu Haplogroup. Frequencies of the J Haplogroup in which most Ashkenazi Jewish people has was also found in Egypt but only during the last and final dynasties of Egypt during the Greek invasions of Egypt and not during the time of Moses. E1b1a DNA = Hebrew / Bantu tribes that's why the other tribes with R1b Haplogroup DNA that where selling them off in huge numbers called them HEEBOES slaves, so in reality it wasn't actually Africans selling off other Africans but a different bloodline / tribe selling off another bloodline tribe which where Hebrew tribes. Frequencies of the E1b1a Haplogroup is also found in Ethiopia amongst the Ethiopian Jews in their mixed Ancestry DNA even though they have mostly E1b1b Haplogroup DNA, the Ethiopian tribes where the women where plates in their lips however only has M and H Haplogroup DNA which is a Hunter Gatherers DNA type, the Pygmies also has M and H Haplogroup DNA along with some dark skin Asian tribes that's more genetically blood related to the M and H Haplogroups such as the Jarwa tribe who's indigenous to East India but has no known DNA of any African tribe but still carries M and H as a ancient Ancestor out of Africa but are more closely related to other Asian groups such as East Indians and the Chinese. Also people in Fuji and Australia Aboriginals are more closely related to East Indians. Frequencies of E1b1a Haplogroup DNA however is also found in Spain and Portugal in which many Crypto Jews where enslaved and then shipped off to places like the Americas in South America, North America and the Carribean Islands... Some black slaves shipped to the Americas where actually Crypto Jews born with E1b1a DNA transported from Spain and Portugal... This was long before the slaves trade started in West Africa. Also frequencies of E1b1a DNA is also found in the mixed Ancestry of Modern Day Arabs but only at 1% to 5% of their over all mixed ancestry. This makes this particular DNA Haplogroup to be more Ancient to the Middle East than it is Recent to the Middle East since it's at a lower percentage of their over all mixed ancestry because remember first the Romans invaded the Middle East and most likely intermixed with the original inhabitants of the Middle East born with E1B1A DNA, then the Persians came in and mixed with the population, then the Greeks came in and mixed with the population, then Turkish people came in and mixed with the population, then East African slaves born with E1b1b / Hamites when taken into the Middle East as slaves so up until this point of course E1B1A Haplogroup DNA would be at a much lower frequency in the mixed DNA of modern day Arabs. Sephardic Jews also has some frequencies of E,1b1a Haplogroup DNA in their mixed DNA. All tribes with E1B1A DNA claim to have some sort of Ancient Hebrew connection all through Africa and they all are Bantu or have intermixed with the Bantu like Ethiopian Jews... Hebrews always intermixed with Hamites because they always looked the same as in skin color like when you look on the first dynasties of Egypt walls , it's hard to tell the difference between a Hebrew slave and a Egyptian because they both had Afros, kinky hair texture and brown skin tones from light to dark. Also Moses was raised as a Egyptian, Paul was mistaken for being a Egyptian, Joseph was mistaken for being a Egyptian, Jesus who's real name is Yahushuas mother Mary fled him into Egypt to hide from his Enemies which where the Romans.

Using the term the Middle East negates most of your argument as there is no place in the Bible as that but the Near East, Arabia or Northeast Africa Region all in Africa until the 1850s. I don't know if all Bantu people were Hebrew or not, but they have not been any significant Hebrew presence in Igboland other than a small sect of Jewish people who might have migrated with Efik people of Calabar in Cross River State or the Biblical Aphik or Afik Cannan from Ethiopia as black jews. The Efik people and tribe of Calabar in Cross River State have the only documented Hebrew practices met in Old Calabar by the Christian missionaries such the 8day week, circumcision of the male child on the 7th day of life one of the 10 commandments, Sabbath, Sprinkling of blood on doors on passover, all Efik formal names are in the Bible etc. Efik people do not need need a DNA test like Igbo people to prove they are Hebrews.

If you watched Evangelist Ebuka crusade where he called some Delta Igbo NDI assra Isi, you would have noticed that their dialect has to do with Nsuka axis. Agbor is Ohafia in Abia. Please, I would like to have your contact to reach personally. Igbo has nothing to do with eri. It is a complete falacy given credence by the IPOB in their quest to prove that Igbos are jews. It depends on how far back you want to go. Artifacts in UTURU CAVE shows Igbos living there hundreds of centuries. SOME of these before, during, and after the BANTU EXPANSION went to :
1.) East Africa e.g. Ezana (Eze Ana)
    2.) Canaan (Nke Nna)
    Present day middle east.
    3.) Ancient Egypt "Kam" (nKem).
It is from Kamit (Egypt) through Sudan (nSu Ude), that Eri and his siblings came back to Igboland to establish cities and towns like "Umu le Eri", Aguleri etc
There were Igbos in "nSu Miri" Sumeria. Some of whom followed confluences "nSu" to as far as nsukka.
