Do not spray your Rc with water like this.... 100% those rigs have rust, I personally brush with a few different brushes and blow down after every run then after about 10-15 runs Ill break them all the way down and do a soapy deap clean on all the plastics and Aluminum, the hardware get tossed and replaced if needed only. Been thinking of doing the hardware in a sonic bath of vinegar lol but hardware is cheap lol
I hear yah brother back in the bad old days I definitely would have some issues but usually not to bad with the new water sealed electronics been cleaning them like this for about 7 years or so
hello, i got a traxxas sledge and i am scared that if i clean it with water like you do that i will break the ESC and make the motor rust a bit etc (note i dont got a aircompressor)
@@fullthrottleobsessions i didnt for 6 months but now its getting rusty and very dirty, there is even growing a little bit a grass in the front XD i tried cleaning everything with a toothbrush taking wheels off the car but even after hours of cleaning its still very dirty, water should be helpfull but im scared to make the motor and esc wet

Not necessarily along as you dry the rc thoroughly they won't rust that's why I use the compressor to ensure that there dry before I put them away
A lot of ppl say it’s not good to hose em down like that but it’s a lot faster to clean I just wet them in wd 40 before i air dry it to prevent rust

@@joejonrl7968 iv been there brother, back in the bad ol days the Electronics weren't water proof so it was just compressed air for me
@@fullthrottleobsessions so you are saying it is possible to clean my traxxas sledge with water without using a air compressor ?
I definitely wouldn't recommend it. It's best to use compressed air to dry all the moisture so all your screws and metal parts don't start to rust
