Yong Heng Hokkien Mee is da best Hokkien mee in my opinion (unfortunately not for Lery and Adria - assuming that it is that stall :( ). Its definitely on the sweeter side and probably more suited for peeps who like stronger flavours. I have it almost weekly to biweekly since a few years ago and its standard to me may fluctuate but it was overall still absolutely tasty! 777 is straight up a no go for my tastebuds as I thought I was eating plain noodle soup, but knowing that its also famous place just shows the diverse taste profile each person possess - my bro gf thought Yong Heng was trash and 777 was fantastic so to each his/her own. For a more positive review on Yong Heng, one can go watch alderic's. Its one of his top choices. and not sure eat book has done it - but maybe a curry dish to feature? haha (since the curry chicken stall beside Yong Heng is also pretty decent!)
you think the wokhei come from where? from the noodles meh? the prawn? it comes from the fire bro. unless you tell me they cook with induction cooker la.
@@audeamus7388 bruh yea it comes from the fire cooking the ingredients at a high heat first. unless they add the gravy a lot at the start then only boil the noodle then that one... maybe the one they never include in the video lol
@@audeamus7388you are indeed the one that is blind! Didn’t you see that their first order was from a coffee shop, then they were sitting on a bench in the void deck, eating from a plastic container. Duh! 🙄 Don’t be so quick to jump to conclusions.
Comment down below what dish we should feature next 👀

For bukit batok in the opposite coffeeshop there’s yong heng which is far more superior than 777.
That's actually 4th location where lery said is so bad they don't want to show
@@Nick88126 Damn sad sia, that's my favorite, I really hope the standard didn't drop that bad till it got canceled.
Hkm is one of the few dishes, where u tapao and still tastes as good, or even better sometimes.....
Yishun have one more hokkien mee you should try, Jackson Hokkien Mee, but the hours are short.. do check the google timings..

HAHAHA u know me so well 😏
Is so easy to guess, the one they mentioned cannot make it was Yong Heng. From the photo they shared, is so obvious.
Pls do visit other parts of Malaysia as well, Eatbook. Pretty pls. Sending lots of love from Kedah, Malaysia to you guys.
Thank you for the love! 2025 maybe? 🥹
I like the way Adria is irriated with lery and tell him to stop it with a smiley face. 😂 👍

i don't think wet hokkien mee would have wok hey, cause of the broth. but dry hokkien mee should have wok hey
can what, your hor fun got gravy also got wok hey. cook the noodle first then add the broth later

You're so wrong bro. Wet hokkien mee can have wok hey if done right.
@@wenxuanify yea like i said, they fry first to get the wok hey then add in the broth to make it wet...

Why is the girl doing the lime...?
SG Hokkien noodle characteristic is v alkaline. Isn't SG Hokkien noodles supposed to have a strong alkaline taste?
no
I got deceived by the intro! I thought Eatbook went to Blk 58 Market! 😁
But there is also no more Hokkien Mee at my neighbourhood. 😅
Y can’t you, guys, eat in the coffee shop instead of the void deck? 😁
The second one is way toooo wet. 🤦♂️
they did. you blind?
Confirm no seats.. small and crowded coffee shop
That coffeeshop is kinda cram especially in the morning. There’s a famous carrot cake there too.
