I think the writer of this series doesnot believe in true love, because not even one couple of this series had a happy ending 😢😢 so sad especially for Chin Yun he did so much for his love

I totally enjoyed this series the ending was sad but I love the way Chinese movies pull at your heartstrings. We all want the good guy to get the girl in the end and live happily ever after but a twist is pretty cool too.

I only watched this drama because of Lost You Forever. I loved LYF. But this drama, where do I started about how speechless I am about these characters. First all, I loved the actors, they did a great job making me either love or dislike the character they portrayed. Saying that, I’ll start by saying how wishy washy the FL character is. She flipped back and forth. Leaves her daughter to be raised by a man that cannot be trusted. I don’t think Chi Yun had that in mind when he asked her to live on. Meanwhile her daughter grows up in Lost You Forever without a mother. She measures all her relationships from abandonment issues. All of Chi Yun’s fears for his daughter’s future come true.
In the end are both dramas worth watching? Yes. I’ve accepted the fact that not all C-Dramas have a happy ending. Some dramas though sad in the end did leave me satisfied with a sad ending. But this ending was a disappointed to me. I do have to say the writer does like to torture his characters.
If you haven’t seen Lost You Forever, it’s a must see if not only for Yang Zi’s acting. It’s a change from some of her not so smart characters in the past. She had me crying in one of the episodes.
But according to the book, A-Heng was burned beyond recognition and couldn't leave the peach- blossom forest. She didn't leave her daughter to Shao Hao. The little girl was sent to Mount Jade for safety until she ran away...

I had just started watching it and still on episode 7 but skipped and checked if it’s a happy ending coz it seems it will be, Chi Yun & Mo seems to be really in love with each other but it turns out it’s a very sad ending, even if Chi Yun had died she could lived a happy life with their daughter and showed love to her and fulfill Chi Yun’s wish but she never did. The writer of the story as what one of the commenters had said never know true love. Chi Yun’s line when he said you must live on….is very beautiful together with the other words that he had said but as the story concluded it wasn’t a happy ending for Mo & her daughter. They could have ended it with her daughter near Chi Yun’s grave telling her how great her father is and how much he loved her though she didn’t grew up with him or her daughter getting married and Mo telling her how much her father would have loved to see her wed but can’t but in the background Chi Yun is watching his daughter getting married with Mo talking to him as if he’s there telling him that their daughter is already grown and is now getting married 😢, why do Chinese authors had beautiful start but sad endings? I watched Victoria Song & Luo Yunxi’s Broker and it’s a tragic ending again, LYX committed suicide together with the other villains just to protect her, the same thing with this 😢😢😢.

The most clever and most wicked person in d dis drama, I must say, is Shenglu. He allowed everyone to fight to dia deaths without even lifting a finger to help, and everything was going accordingly for him.
Mo is just throwing herself from one side to d oda. She's very indecisive, and didn't cherish d love Chin had for her. She's always saying she won't be wit him . Now he's dead she wants to be wit him forever? It's all useless all worthless!!!!!

Title doesn't represent the drama. Maybe Chinese title ihas different meaning than english. Great acting, However I wouldn't have watched this with the amount fighting and killing. She gives her lovechild to a man she didnt love after she was told not to allow her grow up in a royal family. Causes the death of her beloved then is left alone. Hfer father didn't care about nothing but power causing tremedous grief for her entire family. No one had a happy ending. Hoping to see some joy instead of this tragedy. Will not recommend this to others, especially in a real world where this is happening every day.
