      Mobile phones existed then. I don't knowegy you gate them. They are a blessing if used properly.

    I remember them good old days real gangs be around every corner of that road. I also remember how me and friend got chased and surrounded by 15 white skinheads men with knucle dusters and big glass vodkha bottles and we got saved by the local bengali brothers and they gave them a lesson that they'll never forget.

      @sf2explus Other UK cities like Birmingham, Manchester Liverpool are highly racist and go into their cities and see real racism and segregation and segregated areas in these cities .

      These are lies.
      There were not a lot of BNP or other racists.
      Just fantasy.

      His name is “manori”. The guys been selling watches since the late 80s. I remember if you lived in Whitechapel , you’d go to him. He’d always beat the prices of other sellers predominately of Jewish origin. Lovely guy . Coming from a Sikh who was born and bread in Collingwood Street ❤

    Is the pub behind the bus stop the blind beggar? I was in the area in August 2019.

      Simon Yip. yes it is. It's London's most fashionable place to get shot in the head!

      Jack Sabbath I was sat outside that pub in April last year, I am not a Londoner but I had heard of the Blind Beggar (I actually thought it was situated further westwards on Whitechapel High St, somewhere near Commercial Street or Aldgate Tube station, so I was quite surprised when I looked up and saw the name).

      @MahiTanMazy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah. It's one of the more popular pubs in the area, always full when I go past it.

    Wonder how the buses work in the 90s, was it just cash? so was there a conductor?

    • @Nick_80599
      @Nick_80599 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just cash, it was just cash till around 2005. Cash stopped on buses in 2013 and at the time in 2013 it was £2.50

    • @originalunoriginal4055
      @originalunoriginal4055 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you pay at the bus driver. Bus driver takes the cash and gives the ticket's. No extra staff or ticket man on the bus.

    • @desmondstrose8582
      @desmondstrose8582 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He's not illegal at all. Let's see how you react with a camera zooming in and out on your face by a photographer you don't know. I'd react the same way. Some people are just timid that way.
