Salam brother, one this this is not actually araam gha of rasul mir , second it's not khanqha of shah i hamdan at all , his son Mir Mohammad hamdani just vist the place , and 3rd u have misunderstood that he was a romantic poet ,
Maybe because the entrance into the masjid is on left side and as the man mentioned, Rasool Mir had asked for it because he wanted the prayer goers to be able to have a glance at his grave before entering the masjid so his sins would be forgiven. Just guessing but hope that helps ❤️
