People won’t admit it but the truth is Stephen curry should be in the GOAT conversation. Is undoubtedly the #1 PG if u analyse what he’s doing at his size compared to Magic Johnson being a whole 6’9 point guard. And people wanna say that can’t be the case because he’s not a conventional PG because he doesn’t create opportunities for his teammates,alright why does every player who was never considered to be a reliable player suddenly have their best season offensively when playing along with the warriors and Steph it’s the warriors offensive system that is centred around curry. Steph just being on the court draws so much attention from the defence especially when moving off ball, it creates openings for his teammates every single game so yes he creates for his teammates just in a different way.

How old are you? MJ23 6 rings, 6 finals MVP, 3 NBA MVP, 2 DPOY. Steph while being a great shooter would not of been able to handle physical defence, how do you think LBJ and Curry flourish today, it because its soft and hardly any body play defence. I have been watching basketball for close to 50 years, Yes I would place Curry in top 10 conversation...but MJ is far and away the GOAT. BTW I struggle to have LBJ even top 5.
He’s definitely a top 15 player ever. And Magic being a 6’9 pg shows how skilled he is actually, there’s tons of guys that height who can’t do what he did . But I still believe Curry is better than Magic, you could put Curry on showtime Lakers and he still would dominate. Can’t say the same if magic was on the prime warriors days unless he had KD.

I’m a Dubs fan and I’ve followed almost every moment of Steph’s career: that running hook shot he hit over Big Z with 2 minutes left looked very similar to a running hook shot he had against Spencer Hawes as a rookie to record his first career triple double! Oh yeah, that was also against the, Clippers! Never take these moments from him for granted! ❤❤

@@yellowduck-2024scoring points from 2s is on average just as hard as from 3s. There is a video on YT showing that the current delta in league averages between 2s and 3s perfectly compensates the point delta (1pt).
So presupposing that MJ scored just as many points from FTs, it was just as hard for Jordan to score 40 with only two pointers as it is for Curry to do it with three pointers.
