Thank you for at least making that acknowledgement. To me, pure basketball heads will always enjoy watching the WNBA. I honestly would rather watch the W, than watch a MLB game in the summer ( unless it's my team playing ). The real joy is when you can watch a game with your basketball playing young daughter, and explain the nuances of the game to her, instead of her just watching it just for fun.
And Terrika is hilarious. Reminds me of my homeboy who will NEVER admit that he was wrong . . even partially. The Liberty are a major threat to the Aces. I was shocked at how they disposed of them last weekend. The wild card is Sabrina. If she can play like at an All-WNBA level, and a top 10 player in the league, that makes them extremely dangerous.
That's not hilarious, that's the modern woman. Even with sports and discussing with her colleague, she simply can't admit she made assumptions that did not pan out.
Andraya is a keeper! Nice work. I agree that Arike and the security was too much. Arike plays with adrenaline l just wish she kept that in the game. I always wondered if Liz contacted Lauren Jackson when she left the game.
This is good! The first segment sounded just like twitter exchanges 😅Thank you for talking about the impact of narratives on the players...their careers, their safety, endorsements, etc...not to mention the ugliness that it can and has helped to breed in often far too toxic and racialized public discourse. It is frustrating on so many levels. I appreciate your voices and am thankful for the opportunity to hear honest opinions on it . I do hope the W and NCAA WCBB are listening!
@@JiKeeY202 The problem is that it is not handled the same in all games in the W. Some get escorted by security, some by team staff, etc... So it doesn't look as if particular players are a problem, it should be a security escort for everyone or not.

What I was disagreed with what Lachina said was the perception argument in regards to black women... It can't only be equality when it comes to perks & privileges without the dues & responsibility part!!!

Look how Terrika got caught in 4K lol. That first Liberty win was a pleasant surprise but after winning the cup yesterday Im definitely getting optimistic. Jonquel started the season off slow but she's stepped it up since the asg. Now I think they really have a chance to win everything.
The Liberty are doing very well, and they are definitely NOT overrated. It takes time to build chemistry. 30 games is not a lot when it comes to building this...yes she was WRONG...dead WRONG!! They haven't been convincing because NY Liberty had to learn how to play with each other...40 games this season help them build trust with each other. Wnba is not learning from the NBA 's fight, which almost shut them down. They can't fight because it will turn more sponsorships away from helping this league grow. Arike should have been ejected you can't make contact with a ref..period it doesn't matter!! You're a top athlete and you can stop on a dime. The ref was walking towards the scorers table to give the players number of the foul...she wasnt walking towards Arike. They supposed to have security to protect her from the fans or anything. They do this in the NBA all the time. Courtney portrays herself as she is...she's trying to play it cool but she has destruction
I think Liz likes attention. Her reputation as a player overshadows any of the potential she has. I assume the Aces didn't even care about that Liberty game, they already locked in their spot, no sense in giving the other front running team a chance to get a feel for how yall play. Not that it is a loss on purpose, but It appeared they didn't really care about that game. The Arike ejection seemed like the ref was just tired of her mouth and was more than happy to be in her way to make a case for a "tech" or an ejection. Refs are people too, and it's not impossible to believe that a referee may take some of the players griping personally. I'm surprised Jonquil didn't get ejected, that elbow to A'Ja was nasty...
I didn't see the full game of when Arike got ejected. Was she saying something or disagreeing with the ref the entire game, up until that ejection? If so, I can possibly see how the ref may have felt some type of way with getting bumped. But without knowing all of that, I thought the ejection was ridiculous. Arike didn't go extremely out of her way to avoid the ref, but I don't think it was intentional. I also think they do not eject her, if the game was a lot closer, or if this was a playoff game.
Las Vegas is All World is a stretch. A lot of their flaws were exposed. Their bench still has a LOT to be desired, Picking up Alaina Coates was a GREAT move. Aj'a needs a STRONG 5 to give her relief from the 5 spot , especially at the frensive end, but it also needs to be a person that can produce at the offensive end. And Sydney Colson is literally holding up a roster spot, when they could be acquiring Didi Richards, (a 6'2 athlete that can come in and play (especially defend) 3 positions, because Jacke Young gets tired sometimes and in a little foul trouble, or Brea Beal and Alexus Morris are better (WAY better) than Sydney Colson and can contribute something, you CAN actually put them on the floor. Last, the pink elephant in the room. Often times, Kelsey Plum is a defensive liability
I watched the game against nigeria. I am sure you guys did not watch the nigerian game. Those nigerian were playing kunfu on Liz. Liz got frustrated and retaliate. How can you guy talk about something u did not see.
Liz is a 6’9 woman, she shouldn’t have to fly on a regular flight!! If Liz makes more money away from the WNBA then good for her. The WNBA needs Liz more than Liz needs the WNBA. The audacity of yall to criticize an interview that you didn’t watch in it’s totality!! Watch the whole interview!! Is this journalism or 2 women chatting.

I've been casually watching the WNBA on the weekends and it's actually enjoyable. I don't know many of the players tbh but it has been fun to watch.
