American here. Just wanna say I was hella impressed with Nigeria at the Olympics. Y'all dope. Don't stop. Big things in the future for Nigeria, no doubt.
@@afroriginalvoice9419 it was because they played USA which is a bit of hard luck. USA has not lost any match since Barcelona Olympics in 1992. The best in the world. If they weren't in the wrong side of the draw, they would have won a medal. Australia they beat won the bronze because they avoided USA.
my love went 100 for the team. my whole family followed basketball at the Olympics ahead of football cos of u ladies. it was a moment for us all. more wins, ladies.
These women deserve the world for-their remarkable achievement at the Olympics in Paris , making the quarter finals , they could have gone further if not for them meeting USA the best team in basketball, at the quarter finals ,they could have battled any other team till the end , thank you beautiful women for putting Nigeria on the women’s basketball map
The coach is God's gift to the team. At first i didnt like that she came on board cos i loved coach Otis. Now I'm very sorry for the nasty things i said. Coach Rena Wakama is the best for the dtigress team. I hope the overzealous administrators will encourage her and give her the support that she needs on this amazing journey that she has begun
Wetin she dey wear na? I enjoyed the convo. Abeg, we appreciate you all. The tenacity and emotions in those games were intense ladies. The bar and standards is ever been raised. Surely, we have our own. Up Naija!
Ezinne needs to come back home to play a major role in basketball administration in Nigeria not even coaching when she retires from playing .She has the intelligence, skills, experience and technical know how to turn things around for the better and put Nigeria up there consistently at the top.
Please tag the Presidency! We need the same commitment from everyone.Nigeria can sure be a better place. Thank you Coach Wakama. I love your spirit ma'am 🌹
Would LOVE to see a Sit Down with my Three Fordham RAMily Moboliji Akiode, Jade Lieato, Kade ...... Kade x Mobo played on that OG Nigerian team back in 04. And Jade been kicking UP for Cape Verde National team for YEARS!
Congratulations to these damsel, they have made us proud as Nigerians and as Africa❤ Pls which state is wakama from in Nigeria? I love this lady so much for her passion for this sport.
We don't need any ogwumike sisters pls. You guys need to move on beyond this Ogwumike fantasy. Did you all see them promote these girls on their pages during the Olympics? Even when the whole world was shouting these women and their accomplishments at the Olympics, they kept silent. I used to follow them and wondered why they never posted the dtigress even after they beat Australia and Canada. This was same team they once identified with 4 years ago and suddenly wanted to play for after the USA team dumped them. For me, those girls are confused about where they want to belong and only thinking of themselves and the perception s and validation they get from USA basketball. They're stylishly wanting to crawl back to USA basketball and distancing themselves from Nigeria. So no need clamouring for them in the Dtigress team. We don't need them abeg. Even Arike, Michaela, Elizabeth Williams were posting dtigress on their stories, while Nneka was busy posting Ezi of Australia a night before Nigeria Vs Australia. We only identify with those who identify with us please!
The have American accents because they were born and raised in the U.S. Because they have at least one Nigerian parent, they are eligible to play on Team Nigeria.
Why always American, jumping in yhe water . Nothing on the head totle screams America, please go get yourself a beer.A game of basketball takes many years to coach, prepare, and always hard to win.i played my college mens in uganda. Not a single woman played that game
I never held An American passport and Iam second generation pops was sprinter in uganda. My girls do play basketball ball, live on both continents.Than you , they worked hard, nothing to do with God your hard work paid.Thank you everyone in my house is jumping up and down continue to heading upstairs. Africa loves you.

Coach Rena Wakama is now Nigeria Icon. She deserves National honour. For Ezinne Kalu is an angel.
Americans 🇺🇸
Yeah she deserves it ❤🇳🇬
The deceived her , why be a best and crash out, I rather be the worst and win Olympic gold

They PURPOSELY sent them in the arms of team USA at the Quarter Final. Hopefully, in the next 4 years you will clinch a medal as Africa deserves it!
Delete this thing they followed a draw

Ummm no we need to get her removed from our FBA Hbcu's
There was absolutely no chance she ever had a shot at playing for USA Women's Senior National Team 🙄😒
