Love boat camping as well. Here's a little trick that may help you. Build yourself (or buy) a good sturdy wood box for storing and transporting your boat camping gear. Attach a cheap carpet door mat to the bottom so it doesn't slide around on the boat, or scuff the floor. When you hit the beach and empty the box, flip it over and put it in front of your pontoon for a nice no-slip step to make it easier to get in and out.
I am wanting to buy my 1st fishin’ pontoon and I love your videos. This one inspires me to boat camp out with the family and kids.
Dude your breakfast looked great 👍 and that was a very cool and clean way to make eggs
Always enjoy some camping. Can't wait for one that I can join in on. One of these days.
Always enjoyed the idea of setting up camp, fishing during the evening/early morning hours then getting a good nights rest.
Kevin that was great man nothing like getting in touch with GODs Creations thanks brother
Awesome video Kevin!!! I am a little disappointed that there wasnt any hot sauce on that burrito tho 🤣😂
Love this! All the different angles really made me feel like I was right there!
So I’m watching pontoon camping vids and this pops up and I’m like hey we know that guy. Very fun and informative watch. 😀
Nice looking area for camping. First thing I would do is get the rods in the water and then do the rest
I did. years of tent camping. Enjoyed the catching, camping and hosting on this one.
Thanks for taking us along
Awesome video can't wait to get santee in July for some noodling and catfishing
Enjoyed watching this Video down to earth camping and fishing. Brings back memories when I took my boys camping and fishing on Broad river . Love it bring more THANKS.
Complete package of fun. Fishing, camping, & cooking! Nice video, Kevin! Can't believe you didn't get a dawn bite though.
Hey man! I’ve watched your fishin videos before, but just saw your boat/camping videos for the first time today. I watched 3 in a row this morning with my coffee. Great videos! Really enjoy them. You are “real”, great personality.
great video! your laugh is insanely infectious ! love it! keep up the great work!
👍👍
Ozark trail has those style tents! Love mine. Cant wait to make it down to santee
That looks like a really cool spot to camp and I liked what you did with those eggs I’m gonna have to try that 👍
Great view and awesome fish man , it’s fun getting them in that 2ft
My wife and myself use the Coleman Red Canyon 8 Tent, It's Big !!! I set up a cot on each side (his and hers) leaving the center open. We have found that when it rains we bring our chairs inside and play cards and such , at night the wife likes the toilet set up inside. I use the Camping-Brothers-Outdoor-Portable toilet. We use it in our bigger boat and can use it in a pop up pod also when camping
Good stuff. Fish that area often. Must have been near Christmas time when warmer. Never thought they would be that shallow this time of year. Good stuff.
Great video Kevin! I hope to make the camping trip next year if you plan it again.
I enjoyed watching your camping on the island and catching the catfish and I was hoping to see you cook your wings . Now the boiled eggs in the bag looked like I don’t know , we’re they good ?
The orange rod on the right appeared to be your Ugly Stik Catfish Special. So far, how does it compare to your other rods in quality, etc?
It’s a good rod. It’s pretty much the same as the original catfish rod. It’s definitely a lighter action rod. Quality is no question. Great for dragging baits. Limited on the amount of weight you can sling.
Nice video, as usual. Did you notice all of the clam shells on the beach? Does that mean anything to you in planning future spring and summer trips? Does that suggest that this area will be prime fishing when the cats begin to feed on the clams?
Oh yeah, I believe they feed on those mussels all year long. Especially in the summer, they come up shallow.
@@PalmettoCats a few years back we spent lots of nights fishing in the trees directly across from where you camped in this video. It is a nice shallow area to fish, but can be challenging to get back and forth if it gets windy.
@@Selboy000 Oh yeah, it's a great area! The wind will RUIN your day, for sure.
do you like the piscifun reels better than kastking?
@@PalmettoCats awesome what size do you recommend I will order a couple tomorrow
I like the 60, but the I have several 50’s as well. They both have power handles, but the 50 has the thumb button to cast. Use my code CAT18 and you’ll save 18% on their website.
How cold is the night?
I'm in the Pacific Northwest, and its been in the 40es at night for the past month.
As always I love fishing with you, great videos, thank you so much.
Glad you like them!
