In this video, I shared our macro level marketing strategy for Ninja Squad, an NFT collection that launched in November 2021 and sold out within minutes. We'll be looking at what it means to do community-based marketing and how we can approach marketing from a customer journey angle.

It seems every project has a Discord, but especially when your marketing team of 1, does it make sense to engage through multiple channels like discord, Medium , youtube etc early on in the engagement stage? can twitter be enough for updates and engagement activities and website for FAQ and occasional twitter spaces meets for followers to participate in ? What are your thoughts?
really good & important question. No - when you're a one man show, it may not be realistic to do it all - especially pre-launch and depending on the scope of your project. I would primarily stick with Twitter (content + spaces attendance + collabs) + website + discord. good luck!

There's great power in a paid marketing team and a good sized budget for marketing. You can basically pay to get your nft to sell out. Too bad most small creators don't have this luxury.

our team built a large audience prior to launching Ninja Squad so that kicked us off but then consistent efforts.,

What do you mean mature products?
Podcasts- if you’re referring to NFT/web3 themed podcasts we listed 10 that we like on ninja squad’s medium page. My personal fav is overpriced jpegs.
@ A product that is established. I worked at a company called Freshworks. Our major source of revenue came from a product called Freshdesk. It was an established product that had a brand name (in the SMB space) but the company wanted to amplify it for Enterprise markets.
Have you gotten to work in any company with a focus on enterprise customers (for a product that had traction say 1000-1500 leads a week)? What channels you found that best worked for this type of marketing?

loll you're right - there's so many of them! but yes, NFT OG's are on Discord - it's inevitable. I'd look at it more from an angle of 'which communities are they a part of?'

We apply them as of this date and are relevant and working. The common consensus seems to also show that it is helpful. Perhaps it’s not what you were looking for or not relevant in your particular context?
Btw- As a consumer of content, i know it is so easy to dismiss something and tag it as ‘not helpful’ but i would like to ask for a more kind approach to a lot of work that has gone in putting this out here. Creators are making a huge effort to share things that can be helpful to others and most of the time with no gains in return. If something doesn’t resonate with you, it doesn’t mean it’s not helpful for anyone.
