‘Allo! ‘Allo! is one of the greatest comedy shows ever made! Still makes me laugh even today. Kim Hartman and Richard Gibson have aged so well and they seem to have such a chemistry together in these panels.
Had the pleasure of meeting Hartman and Gibson multiple times at different conventions through the years and they are both sweet lovely people. I wish them all the joy and happiness in the world.
Absolutely loved that show, it is one of the best of British Comedies and given the wealth of wonderful shows in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s that is saying something. Kim Hartman (Helga) mentioned they recorded live on a Friday night, what a way to spend a Friday night.
Richard Gibson made a massive contribution to the success of 'Allo 'Allo. Remember the scene where he 'tortures' the colonel, captain and Rene while playing the organ and exults, 'Look! No hands!', or that exquisite Christmas special 'The Gateau from the Chateau' and his near-death experience with the poisoned dart, and so many more. His partnership with Britain's own Peter Lorre, John Louis Mansi, was an endless delight, as, of course, was his teaming with Kim Hartman.
Give me a moment back in time, id like to have been a fly on the wall, during the filming of allo allo. Missing those times so much! You cant get comedy like this 😥
That show was is an all-time classic. I don't think there was even a minute between laughs in every episode. That many gags over so many series has never been done.
This program was responsible for the ruin of my Mams living room carpet. It was the scene where the Germans are sat in a staff car discussing Hitler’s superstitions, and one of them asks if a flying nun would be regarded as such. At this point Mimi dressed as a Nun floated past in mid air. I started laughing and spat a mouthful of Cocoa Cola all over the very pale carpet, which alas never seemed to fully recover.
I think one of the funniest scenes with Helga & Herr Flick was the scene when they were watching a train blow up. The great clump of soil falls on Helga her facial expressions were brilliant. Herr Flick smirks and comments how amusing it was, and as he finishes his line a great clod of soil falls on him and with a look of embarrassment he states that was not so amusing, his facial expressions were also brilliant. I have watched every series multiple times and still find funny bits I had missed. Definitely one of the best British comedy series of all time. Along with Dads Army.
This answered my most pressing question about the acting of these 2: How on Earth did they keep a straight face. ANSWER : THEY HAD TO AVOID LOOKING AT EACH OTHER !! HAHAHAHA.
It was really a great serie. When I was in Paris in 2003. I heard that this serie was never shown in France. Does anyone know if it was shown after that or ever shown in France? This video was good, just bad they didn't do their famous "You may kiss me".
While it is nice to see them back in their iconic roles, it also seems that their career ended almost 30 years ago. Let's hope that they attend this conventions out of their love for the series and not that they're forced to do this to make a living...

'Allo 'Allo was a comedy masterpiece.
In my opinion Allo Allo is the best comedy show ever made! Greetings from Sweden.

Richard Gibson barely looks like the years have affected him...and Kim Hartman still has a fantastic pair of legs!
Great pair of everything and beautiful smile
So glad to see them two on a stage together! They seem to age so well, so does the chemistry between them!
that show is a masterpiece

Baldur - it was pale beige, and it was there when we moved in. So I can’t claim responsibility for poor carpet choices I’m afraid
Brilliant these two are fantastic
Had a crush on Helga as a kid
I will always have a crush on Helga!
I love this show. I use to sneak out of bed at 2 am Alaska time to watch it on PBS.
Its so great to see them still making rounds at the conventions
I adore them💜💜
Two of my favourite characters. The others were Crabtree (Arthur Bostrom) and Bertorelli played by Gavin Richards.
Ai what a mistake-a to make-a! Loved that character!
J'ai adoré cette série que je regardais quand j'étais adolescente, merci youtube pour les revisionner

That is so true...it is an awesome show and even after the gazillionth re-run it cracks me up! Love Dad's Army too!
That scene was enhanced by the fact that Kim Hartman looked away from the Camera because she couldn't keep a straight face :)
I live in Amsterdam, so sad that i missed this.
O Helga my favorit line,,,you may kiss me now,,,,
and herr flick's reaction to her passionate embraces "senk you, nechoyed zat."

She ages well
i still find it hilarious that the most popular british television comedy ever produced is a french farce :-D
So odd hearing them talking in unaccented English!
'the reason Allo Allo can't be made today is because the special effects would be too expensive'
er, ok. No
