Totally agree, and when I DM I would totally allow it too, I just try to make sure most of my videos follow the idea of "Rules As Written" just in case someone's at a table with a hardcore Rules Lawyer
Fun story: I actually tested Gauntlets from a steel armor once, to see how hard the punch feels. The Punches actually hurt *through the sparring hand-guards* your Partner wears for you to punch/kick into (don't know the names of those in english). If that ain't a Weapon, Clubs shouldn't count too.
Oath of Glory was probably designed with heroes like All Might as a template so that's pretty fitting. Would be funny if he shot out the *FORGOTTEN REALMS OF SMASH* !!!
I have a homebrew feat for anybody wanting a good unarmed strike build: *Power Punch* >Increase your Strength or Dexterity by 1 up to your stat maximum >Instead of using any feature that would allow you to do more than 1 Attack with an unarmed strike on your Turn, you can chose to stack any number of these Attacks for a Power Punch. You substract the number of attacks stacked onto each other from your attack role. On a hit, the Attack deals all damage die from your stacked attacks +1D6 per Attack stacked. For example, you are an 11th Level fighter. You use Power Punch and use all 3 Action Attacks at once. You have a -3 on your Attack, but deal 3D8 + 3D6 damage on a hit. Yes, action surge and any bonus action attacks can be included. A 20th Level samurai could stack all 9 of his Attacks together for 9D8 + 9D6. And any +X bonuses from Items you get are stacked as well.
This is really cool! You'd have to optimize for it really well, though as if you miss you just lost all of your attacks with one roll. I guess it works well with reckless
@@gabrielcross1062 exactly. Its an "all or nothing" Move. And imagine the satisfaction of critting with a power punch. PS: I took the Feat straight out of Pathfinders "Power Attack" feat and translated it to DnD
So happy they added those, because I used to homebrew them all the time, and I would hope they can be enchanted or used as smites, while I think it should be allowed at almost any table, I'm not sure whether or not it would be RAW, which is part of the reason I didn't go that route, because I just try to make sure to stick RAW as much as possible even if most tables aren't purely RAW
Idk if you know but now instead of variant human you can choose 'custon lineage' which also grants you a Feat so you can have different race than human with feats
Whenever the topic of divine smite on unarmed comes up I have to bring this up since from the way I'm reading it, it shoooould work, but I might just be dead wrong, but the wording for Divine Smite Says "when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack". And looking at the weapons section of the PHB Unarmed Strike is in there as a simple melee weapon. I am fairly sure I'm missing the piece that makes it so you can't, but just going off divine smite wording, you should be able to smite your firsts.
I think they should count that way, but according to Jeremy Crawford you can't smite with them, while I would rule it ok at my table, I try to stick to rules as written so my builds are accepted at more tables
I built All Might in Pathfinder 1e. A bit difficult, but it worked. Being able to go to 44 Strength at Level 8 definition worked out. I am interested to see you tackle someone from Honkai Star Rail of all things.
Say Atom eve would be good too for a build And makes me wonder how to implement atom eve's sight(can "see" any particle and energy, so can see literally any and every thing)? What feats and skills should be taken for it?
Technically the long death monk can choose how much power it wants to put into it's level 17 ability(and i think all might is high level) that damages by touch and it's level 10 ability allows it to survive leathal blows like all might did. But the damage type isn't really accurate and all might might not be okay with the whole murder thing.
Aaaaaaaaand there it's! The anime copicat version of SHAZAM in a @DnD build amazing video! BtW great point choosing Paladin for the build! 👍and the House Rules instead of an unarmored fighting style
Can you make Assassin from fate/strange fake? She has the same noble phantasm of the assassin for heaven feel, but she can use more hands. She is from the same group "Hashsheen",also she is soo religious
Quick question what's the best book to learn all this stuff I tried looking but there's a fair few is it the cauldron of many things one ? Or do I need a couple of them to cover everything?
The first book to always grab is the player's handbook, then the next go to book I would recommend is Tasha's cauldron of everything. That actually covers most of what's in my builds, but for this build specifically that will cover everything except for the background, but you can easily just do a custom background that does the same thing.
Ive never met a DM who had a problem with useing weighted gauntlets as paladin weapons for smiting

Honestly I think that D&D needs a feat like this, there's not enough ways to amp up a punch attack.
This is really cool! You'd have to optimize for it really well, though as if you miss you just lost all of your attacks with one roll. I guess it works well with reckless

Use it with the zoro build, right before death. -20 to hit, 20d8+20d6 damage.
+1/2/3 Wrist Wraps are RAW in 5th edition now, ask your DM if you want them to have special effects or something extra

Always love a Paladin build! But I’d love to see your rendition of Escanor from Seven Deadly Sins.
We did this at my table, Escanore was a Glory Paladin with some spells swapped around to include Flame-Spells like a larger Fireball for Cruel Sun.
Idk if you know but now instead of variant human you can choose 'custon lineage' which also grants you a Feat so you can have different race than human with feats
That's true, I just like trying to go with as much prebuilt stuff as possible if there's something that works close enough.

Ayyyye this is deadly! Love All Might xD this is really cool! So curious how you put him together
Thanks 😆
If you take a level in monk you can already Devine smite with your fists because they count as melee weapons
I think they should count that way, but according to Jeremy Crawford you can't smite with them, while I would rule it ok at my table, I try to stick to rules as written so my builds are accepted at more tables
Absolutely love the effort in each video, keep up the amazing work👌👌👌
I try lol, thanks for the appreciation 😀

I am interested to see you tackle someone from Honkai Star Rail of all things.
Can you explain how that’s possible? I’m playing PF2e and would love to play him
nice guide and cool shirt!
Thanks and double thanks!
My version of this was a tortle fighter/barbarian/rogue multi class reflavoring it as just a really tough guy.
I would love to see you do Hellboy
Cpt yamamoto from bleach with all his flame abilities would be awesome
Next character you should do is Cid Kagenou/ Shadow from The Eminence in shadow
You should do Thorkell or Thorfinn from Vinland Saga
I've been meaning to watch that one for a while
Say Atom eve would be good too for a build
And makes me wonder how to implement atom eve's sight(can "see" any particle and energy, so can see literally any and every thing)?

I would like to see you build Clive Rosfield.
That was SMASH-ing. No notes.
Could you do a build for Ajani Goldmane from Magic the Gathering.
Aw Great idea for a video >:D
Heheh so hard not to pick variant human for builds :P oh so cool seeing you use the Book of many things!
That background just fit so well that it was hard not to go with something from the Book of Many Things
you should build sidon from tears of the kingdom next
Good video. It really reminds me of another beefy blond guy that I've been hankering to see a build video of.
Just make it in Mutants and Masterminds

I recommend Optimus Primal from Beast Wars and Beast Machines for your next build
Classic Dovahkiin with shouts and horn helmet please.
Day 5 of asking for a Percy Jackson build please
Aaaaaaaaand there it's! The anime copicat version of SHAZAM in a @DnD build amazing video!
BtW great point choosing Paladin for the build! 👍and the House Rules instead of an unarmored fighting style
Woooooooo . I am here !!!!!! Love this . I was wondering . Can you do batman beyond ??? That would be cool .
Can you make Assassin from fate/strange fake?
She has the same noble phantasm of the assassin for heaven feel, but she can use more hands. She is from the same group "Hashsheen",also she is soo religious
I tried to make this but every time it feels wrong
Doing anything Fate is always a challenge, I can think about it a bit, but sorting out the appropriate build will be difficult.
now we need a lu bu build

Chould you build deno man tf2
Wait did you get persuasion from your background? I don’t think you can get a skill twice without expertise.
You found this videos error lol, I accidentally gave the same skill twice, so I actually put a different one on the character sheet on Patreon
If I’m a DM, I’m 💯 letting you use your fists as weapons for this because it’s just too much fun 👊 😁
~_~
Can you make Hyakkimaru's (Dororo) build?
Can you make Jack of blades or nox from wakfu
Can you do Minato Namikaze?
Could you do prince laharl from the disgaea game
Can you make invincible?
Hey can you try to make Shirou Emiya
Would you do a build for Alastor from Hazbin Hotel?
I've only just been hearing about that one, I need to dig in
@@dndbuilds I recommend. Alastor is one of the most interesting characters in pop culture for years, in my opinion.
Day 6 of asking for Johnny Joestar build, from Jojo Part 7
Comes here for the great dnd content…. Oh no he’s hot too!
Well now you've got me blushing
yay! @@dndbuilds
