8 x 8 base is limestone for drainage. But one will hold some water when we get bad rain. It drains pretty quick once it stops though! lol

What holds the turf down? Does the court become unlevel with rain?

Just got a set of these. Thrown them about 4 hours so far. How long would you say it takes for the carpet to slow down to where it should be? Mine still fly off the back.

Does the different colors play any different? Slower / faster? example... White slow side plays faster than Red slow side.

To be honest I haven't noticed a big difference in the play of the different colors on the Kombats. I know that can be the case with some carpet bags. I'll have to do a side by side compare of the 3 colors I have and see. Good question.

I myself have said the blackout set is fuller. I have the same triple crowns and use those as my gamers as well.

Ok good to know you had the same experience. I love both styles but I think the fuller blacks are easier to roll etc. lol
