@ yeah and guns became too accurate and almost no recoil in their new ww2 games
@ crosshairs are huge for the ppsh in this game. I think its realistic

even better is that you can easily get all the sound files, i managed to get all of them for future projects, they aren't even compressed in the game folder just extract with winrar
The MG42 sounds so real, cant think of any other game which had the MG42 sounds nailed as CoD1... Well, with the exeption of Red Orchstra 2 maybe. Its sound was amazing as well.
you know since you were on the left side of the Reichstag, imagine Reznov and Pentrenko were there. Btw notice how the interior of the Reichtag building is smaller than the WAW version.

COD1 ending: You fight your way up the Reichstag and clear the roof so the soldiers with the flag can head to the roof and wave the flag.
COD WaW ending: You fight your way up the Reichstag with Reznov and other soldiers so *YOU* can plant the flag.

this game made me a man that i am now today especially i liked the russian and brittish campaign i played this game as a 4-5-6 and a 7 years old and now i think of it 9:28 i replayed the last mission just to watch this :,)

Soviet union had at the time one of the worst army and won thanks to hitlers dumb decisions and that soviet union had alot of men which stalin could forcefully send to fight against germans.
That being said without US and UK interference on the western front the Soviets would march onto Paris and basically take europe which would drastically change the cold war, respect the 22 million Soviet deaths and the rest, even the Germans, they didn't die so you could bitch about who was better in war

The first thing I noticed when playing this mission was that the date was when Hitler committed suicide.

Especially considering that both Dimitri and Reznov were betrayed and killed. I'll always go with CoD 1

I played a COD game 10 some years back....In its last mission I had to defend a railstation till reinforcement arrived .And the game ended with a train coming full of reinforcement. Can anyone name the game so that I can download it again?

In reality this didn't happen the red army never captured Reichstag because when the Soviets were fighting for Berlin the jerries surrendered
After playing WaW, this level feels very underwhelming. Feels too easy even on Veteran.
