I think it's the lyrics of the song
this song sounds like the bitter sweet ending to a heroes story, Furina definetely deserves hugs and shes such an amazing written character. ❤😍🥺
I love the line "love is not enough"
It's like some anti-disney princess stuff. That well, some things must end in farewell. like something that Furina not taking the Traveller's hand is an essential thing to saving fontaine. A sacrifice must be made.
I mean.... The song is about the bittersweet end
I would say its fit for WW1, ive you probably roblox player you know about Centaura ? Cause someone made opening sequence with this and its fit perfectly
I can't stop thinking about this song, the whole finale was so beautifully done.. I already loved Furina as a character by the end of the AQ but this was another level.. I hope we get more official songs with lyrics like this in the future !
Just so you know, the official English lyrics are not a one-to-one translation of the French, but they do a good enough job at capturing the essence of the song
The actual English translation would be more like this: (* S'il y a des francophones, n'hésitez pas à me corriger !)
Ah, if I could live within the waters,
Would the world be more beautiful?
Will you forgive us, oh dear mother?
The water in its current makes our lives dance.
And the city, it nurtures.
As are you, my sweet love.
No, true love does not suffice.
Only an adieu will flower.
It's our life's story, bitter and sweet.
(For) I am, and always will be there,
To behold the world and its beauty.
And that will never, ever change...
@@SyiepherzeLa traduction est parfaite waw
I've seen a lot of covers completely change the version of the English lyrics that Hoyo provides for "accuracy" and while I appreciate that, I do feel it does a disservice to the effort put in to have a translation that carries the essence of the original, while also aligning well enough that there is no real need to change anything to align with the original to keep up rhythmically if you're okay with squishing a few longer words into one syllable (which most of the covers end up doing anyway)
this song is so beautiful
This one made me love Genshin AND Furina.
I love this song very much, that I even try to learn the lyrics ✨️
same ad even on the piano

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! BROTHERS!!!!
Me that speaks both french and arabic : Hey why they did not do arabic for sumeru
Because sumeru is india, not arabic, you Can check this in the wiki
@@angelkill01 Wth al haithem is an arabe layla is a arabic name and my sisters name Nahida is Similar to Nadia a arabic name part of it is litteraly Egypt
@@MugiShiroganethey must release a song for Nilou.. and you know Sumeru is based on Persian (greater Iran) Iranian nowadays become more like Arab..but in ancient they so different..
@@angelkill01sumeru is more influenced by Arab than Indian culture. Some Indian influence comes up every now and then but it's mostly arab or Persian. Some names especially in the jungle are based on old Sanskrit or Hindi words/names and some concepts come from Hinduism (samarah etc) but the architecture and culture is mostly arab. Nahida is Arab, Layla is Arab (literally means sleep), kaveh is Persian, Al Haitham Arab, nilou etc.
Most of the desert is also Arab.
Hoyo messed up by separating European cultures such as Germany and France for mondstadt and fontaine but combined all of Arab, Indian and Persian (vastly different cultures) into one. They could have had an entire region based on India and another based on the middle east. They messed up big time .
They did Latin in Sumeru

It feel weird not hearing the artillery barrage from Antares attacking for the third time on Aquila's Ring of Fire.
Truly a beautiful song of all time.

💙💙💙
I need the pronunciation, I don't know French and it's difficult 😭
Well that easy
If you want say "re" in french
You have to say "khre" And the letter "k" is read faintly, it applies to various vowels
No just sing the misheard lyrics lol
Here’s a tip from someone who knows 0 french and learnt it, put the song on the slowest option and practice singing along very slowly, each phrase until you get the pronounciation

English lyrics are completely wrong but ok
I agree 😶
Not "completely" wrong but some details in French are missing in English. In the end, it's very hard to translate poetry and convey it's full meaning. Sometimes things are just more understandable in one language but not the other.
Which is the gender of the song??
