Cơm tấm is very popular in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City. It is southern Vietnamese cuisine. It is nice to see you English people enjoying our Vietnamese food.
@@ItsBunChathe Chef has taken inspiration for the dish and adapted it for theatre style service using ingredients and resources at his disposal, to create a very tasty looking dish. The sign of a good imaginative chef. Not just a recipe follower.
@@hotchefuk01 He is also trying to cater to the English palate which makes a lot of things seem weird. That is why he calls it inspiration and not "authentic"
That looked so good and interesting. I love the captions of what it is you are putting in. I could watch this all day. Sounds like it was well received. Thank you for another awesome episode of your cooking! Looking forward to seeing more
Another awesome lunch Mr T I like to compliment to that you're getting from all your customers they're calling you an artist what you do to make people your customers happy is amazing you have an awesome kitchen staff you had Maria who's your new number one you and Maria any other woman chef all work good together can you have your kitchen staff you have your amazing catching staff that comes in they do their jobs and make the customers happy Mr T awesome job
I’ve noticed from from many of these video that these customers are usually asking about the spiciness of the dish. Also a lot of them are not adventurous when it comes to trying new or unique dishes.
i have to say, it's not fair to these "inspired by dishes" that complex, multi layered with extra sides ones cost the same like burgers / wraps you serve other days. Because of both the ingredients and the amount of effort for you to prepare / cook and assamble it. The plate looks so yummy. Well done 👏
idk how easy this would be on a stove like that and exspenses (could do it as a video of its own!), but thai dishes would be cool to see. Like - Pad Kra Pao or Pad Thai! Love your videos
Food looks great MrT as always! So much work gone in to the prep for that... Can I ask, does it not ruin the knife when you stab it into the bottom of a can? Can you just sharpen it back up and it's OK??
vietnamese here , didnt expect to see vietnam food here, the food look delicious , but just curious why sticky rice? Never heard of cơm tấm with sticky rice.
@@MrT2022 yeah, it look good, just a bit uncommon, but i don't see why it cant work, also if you want some easy vietnamese food, you should try bún chả (Hà Nội/ northen version), or bún thịt nướng (basically southern version of bún chả)
Really enjoy that you add "subtitles" when adding spices of veggies etc so thank you! And great service :D!
I'm really enjoying these "inspired by" videos. Prep and cooking videos are my favourite 😊

Cơm tấm là món không thể thiếu bữa sáng trong tuần của tôi. Tôi ăn chúng ít nhất 2 lần/ tuần. Và giá chỉ khoảng £1.5
what other Vietnamese dish are you going to try next?
I am not sure yet, I'm open to suggestions (this was a suggestion too) 👌😊👍
@@MrT2022 what about Vietnamese spring rolls (Goi Cuon)? Or maybe congee not sure if you guys would be interested in trying that.
I love Phở! But it's a bear to make good broth. Brisket Phở is my comfort food. If only I could find or make a decent one 😅

This was the first time I've done this dish, it seemed like a good match. I'll try the real thing if I go to Vietnam, I'm sure it's awesome 👌😀👍

Where can I go to meet Mr. t and get food by him?
Not here, it's a staff only canteen.
Damn! Look at those prices for such yummy looking food!
Where is this place?!
